After dealing with those remnants of the Evil God, the swamp returned to its eerie calm.
This battle was won by Weilu City at the cost of minimal loss, executing all these vicious creatures completely.
A glorious victory.
This was a direct validation of Lear’s strategic and focused agricultural developnt during this period.
However, the aftermath of the Divine Abomination’s escape did not stop there and was still spreading.
The remnants of the Evil God were rely inconspicuous droplets.
To what extent it would reach, nobody could predict at this mont.
Weilu City did not slow its actions; at 10 am on February 17th, a team silently left the swamp, heading directly eastward.
Missionary journey.
Organized by the Ancient Goblin God, after more than a month of preparation, the journey finally began.
This journey was led by five Swamp Boggarts as the core, paired with three Level 18 Great Demons, and accompanied by five squads of Two-winged Demons, five Vine Fairies, and five Bubble Beasts.
The total number of participants was 68, making them very agile.
Missionary work also requires strength.
kiloters to the east, the Gray-headed Hyena tribe, numbering as many as 50,000, was chosen as the first stop for the missionary journey.
Lear only needed these wilderness creatures to provide the Power of Faith and had no interest in ruling them.
Ruling requires costs. There are so many creatures in the wilderness, and incorporating them into the swamp ans providing them with necessities like food, clothing, and shelter, as well as paying managent costs.
Suddenly increasing the population might not yield greater benefits and could even result in a loss operation.
High-quality population with low managent difficulty and high value is what Weilu City desires to absorb.
It was clear that the Gray-headed Hyena tribe did not fit this category.
Four hundred kiloters; it would take an ordinary person walking in the wilderness at least five to six days, but with the high-speed advancent of the flying soldier units, they arrived by noon.
The Gray-headed Hyena tribe lived among low hills, surrounded by the pits they had dug.
Encountering a strong enemy, they would imdiately retreat into the pits to hide.
Their Level ranged between Level 10 and Level 12, considered middle to upper level in the wilderness.
Faced with the impact of underground life, they relied on their burrow advantages to firmly occupy this land.
When the Swamp Boggart led the army to this area, the Gray-headed Hyena tribe, sensing the unfavorable situation, directly burrowed into the ground, leaving only a few to observe from concealed caves.
After a lengthy excavation period, the land had been dug through, allowing these Gray-headed Hyenas to hide up to a thousand ters deep, with exits extending dozens of kiloters away.
Ordinary attacks could hardly exterminate them.
Mani, ranked second among the three Banshees initially taken under Lear’s command, was promoted to Level 16 by the grace of the Master of Heart Eating.
As the backbone of this operation, Mani calmly waved her hand, letting the army settle on the ground.
They chose an area to set up camp, with the Vine Fairies and Bubble Beasts cooperating to clear an area and set up a solid vine stage.
By the ti everything was completed, it was nearing dusk.
After inspecting everything, Mani turned to look at a certain cave entrance.
Inside, a shadow flickered past.
With a sowhat amused look, her lips parted slightly, and a gentle yet penetrating song began to play, directly penetrating the caves.
Soon, a Gray-headed Hyena erged from inside, bewildered.
These creatures had grayish heads, their bodies covered with finger-length fur, and dark spots all over them.
Standing two ters tall, their bodies were muscular and powerful, with sharp teeth like ticulously polished daggers, sending chills down one’s spine.
These were definitely not amiable creatures.
The Grey-headed Hyena man walked blankly up to Mani, staring at her as if there was nothing else around.
Mani slowly spoke.
"Tell your Chieftain that we co from the Swamp and plan to perform a three-day play here, which you can watch freely... rest assured, we will not harm you."
Saying this, she waved her hand, and only then did the Gray-headed Hyena man snap awake, trembling as he looked around before crawling back into the cave.
Level 18 Great Demons and Level 17 Two-winged Demons... these ferocious presences didn’t even need to speak; their re aura was enough to scare these hyenas senseless.
Mani didn’t pay much attention either; as the sky darkened and the moon rose, they imdiately mounted the stage with a few Swamp Boggarts to perform...
The first play was titled Swamp Hero.
It told the story of a hyena man who accidentally entered the swamp, was initially captured, and eventually proved his worth and was released due to an impending external threat.
Later, he actively beca a warrior of the swamp, heroically defeating enemies in subsequent battles, rising through the ranks continuously.
He beca the hero of the entire swamp territory, admired by everyone, and won the affections of countless young won.
He killed Dwarves, subdued Elves, and slayed Undead... almost always leading the charge.
Because of his outstanding achievents, he even received a blessing from the Swamp God, ultimately being baptized in the church and becoming a follower of the Swamp Sect.
This play was crafted entirely in the style of an underdog story, with a cliché and old-fashioned plot.
But for the wilderness creatures, who hadn’t been bombarded by internet information, it was a classic of epic proportions, an immortal masterpiece!
It was a crushing cultural disparity, completely dominating from an entirely different level, and it was perford by the Swamp Boggarts, exceptional perforrs capable of drawing the audience into the scene.
