Chapter 1394: Chapter 1394: Past Events After Death
An Hao hadn’t eaten dinner and had been tossing and turning all day, completely exhausted.
She was drenched in sweat, as if she had been washed with water.
She was so tired she couldn’t even speak. An Hao felt she was in a daze; whatever the doctor said, she would just listen.
“An Hao, hold your breath and push!! Put in more effort, the child is coming,” the doctor shouted loudly.
An Hao took a deep breath, held it tightly, and used all her strength.
At that mont, she felt dizzy, as if she were floating in midair. Her soul had left her body and was drifting aimlessly.
Am I going to die?
An Hao thought to herself silently. When she opened her eyes, she found herself surrounded by darkness.
It was raining, raining heavily, and the water on the ground twisted and turned into a small stream.
And the color of that stream was red, the color of rain mixed with blood. An Hao was startled to find herself standing in front of a corpse, which lay face down on the ground, the clothes and figure looking vaguely familiar.
She was terrified and wanted to leave quickly, but she found the corpse inexplicably attractive to her.
Unable to escape this attraction, she abandoned the idea of leaving.
She squatted down to see who it was lying face down on the ground.
But, when she tried to turn the corpse over, she found she couldn’t even touch it.
What surprised her even more was that despite the heavy rain, her body wasn’t wet at all; in fact, it wasn’t damp in the slightest.
What happened next was even more unexpected.
Police cars and ambulances arrived and stopped where she was.
However, it seed as if no one could see her; they all rushed towards the corpse on the ground.
An Hao remained silent, just standing aside and watching.
When the doctor turned the body over, An Hao could clearly see that the corpse’s face belonged to herself, lying on the cold concrete. The forehead was sunken in, the complexion pale and frightening, with a trace of blood still hanging from the corner of her mouth.
