“Are the little guys still being good?” An Hao asked.
“They’re very good! They’ve been fed and aren’t crying or making a fuss…” Qin Jian hadn’t finished his sentence when they heard one of the babies suddenly let out a loud cry.

“They must be hungry. Bring the two little guys over! I’ll feed them.” An Hao pushed herself up to sit.

“What?” An Hao didn’t catch on, “What ‘hills and valleys’? Are you complinting ?”
Qin Jian nodded vigorously and laughed, “Indeed, I am complinting you!”
“What complint? What made you think of that? Tell !”
“Want to hear it?” Qin Jian asked with a light tone.
An Hao nodded, “Make it clear. Otherwise, I won’t understand what you an!”
“Literally what it ans.” Qin Jian’s lips curled into a smile, “You know what breasts are, right? Think about the shape of ‘hills and valleys’!”
This remark made An Hao’s face turn an even darker shade of red. She reached for a pillow with one hand and hurled it at Qin Jian, “You really are shalessly brazen!”
“Are you mad?” Qin Jian dodged the pillow skillfully and asked with a smile.
“I can’t be bothered with you!”
After feeding one, she switched to the other. Qin Jian had just taken the baby from An Hao’s hands and placed him on another hospital bed when he heard An Hao say she wanted to get out of bed.
He turned around to help her, but when he looked back, both babies were wailing loudly.
One was crying from hunger, and the other from being away from their mother’s embrace.
But the two babies looked identical, and at that mont, Qin Jian also could not tell which baby had just been fed and which had not.
Both babies were wrapped in identical blankets.
He had forgotten the order in which he had laid them down, so he just picked one up at random and handed them back to An Hao.
