Yan Ye heard the implications; he didn’t expect this girl to hold a grudge.

Zhang Yun watched the back and forth between the two, a faint smile spreading at the corner of her mouth: “Alright, never mind what happened, you both are friends of An Hao. In the future, you should beco friends too.”
Lin Qiushu glanced at Yan Ye and remained silent.
Instead, Yan Ye nodded emphatically and said, “Good. I hope Miss Lin will look after more in the future.”
“Lin Qiushu. Just call by my na in the future. Skip the ‘Miss Lin,’ it sounds distressingly formal…”
“Okay,” Yan Ye said with a slight upward curve of his lips, smiling.
Seeing the smile break out on an icy face, Lin Qiushu couldn’t help but burst into laughter herself, “Yan Ye, since we’re friends, I’ll still need your help with my grandmother’s surgery!”
