"Why is that? There’s gotta be a reason to treat soone, right?" An Hao asked.
"Gratitude! And to lend a hand!" Lin Qiushu snapped her fingers, calling over a waiter standing by, "Bring your nu over, and hand it to my most esteed guests."
"Pfft!" An Hao couldn’t help but laugh, "Esteed guests? What are we? Sister Qiushu, we’re friends, even if it’s to show gratitude, you didn’t have to choose such a fancy place, right? Just order a few dishes, as long as we’re sitting together, we should just have a good chat."
"That won’t do." Lin Qiushu smiled and looked at An Ping, "I’m grateful to you, An Ping. If it hadn’t been for you, I might not have been so lucky to escape that trouble that day."
"No need to thank ! Sister Qiushu, you’re friends with my sister, I’m glad I saved the right person!" An Ping said, mustering his energy.
At this mont, he really didn’t feel like eating at all.
Every ti he thought about his failing company, his heart felt as if it were being sliced with a blunt knife, a stifling pain.
"So, is this al to thank An Ping?" An Hao asked with a smile.
"I didn’t know An Ping would be back too. Actually, I wanted to thank Commander Qin." Lin Qiushu passed the nu to Qin Jian, "Please, you choose the dishes."
"Just order anything. There’s no need for thanks, and if there were, I should be thanking you. Helping each other is what it’s all about." Qin Jian smiled.
"Your house specialties," Lin Qiushu casually ordered a few dishes, then handed back the nu and said, "There, I’ve ordered the dishes. Now, let’s chat."
"You seem to be in a good mood today. Let guess, did Qin Jian help you find that address?" An Hao speculated.
"Smart. I’ve got the address! I plan to go check it out in a day or two," Lin Qiushu said.
"That’s great. Congratulations! Finally, it’s like breaking through the clouds to see the sunrise."
"Yes, it’s been so long, and I finally have so leads and clues! I really have to thank you two! I must give my thanks!" Lin Qiushu beckoned a waiter to open a bottle of red wine.
"That makes feel embarrassed to hear. Last ti I was short on cash and went to sell my bracelet, you offered a very fair price! When I had my child, soone almost took them, and that was all thanks to your help..."
"It seems that we are each other’s benefactors!" Lin Qiushu said with a smile, turning her gaze to An Ping, "And I still owe An Ping a favor! If it weren’t for him, I reckon by now..."
"Simply doing the right thing when seeing injustice," An Ping interjected.
"However, you don’t seem to be in high spirits today," Lin Qiushu put down her wine glass and spoke straightforwardly, "An Ping, don’t be sad. The reason I invited you out today is actually to discuss how to help your vegetable company get through tough tis."
Her words imdiately made An Ping raise his head, "Sister Qiushu, you an... you want to help ?"
"That’s right? You don’t think I can?" Lin Qiushu smiled as she looked at An Ping, "I’m not bragging, but I have the capability to help you! Would you like to tell the details?"
"Is this... really... true?" An Ping was still in a dazed state.
"I never introduced Qiushu to you before. Now let formally introduce her. Lin Qiushu, she’s not a simple woman! Her ancestors have been in business for generations! She’s a leading figure in the business arena, an elite in the comrcial world!" An Hao said with a laugh, "And most importantly, she’s financially strong!"
