"There is one. It’s just a very old photograph," Zhang Yun started to look through the album, and on the last page, she carefully took out the long-preserved photo, "This is the one. This is the only photo I have, and the only one my parents left behind."
Lin Qiushu took the photograph and scrutinized it carefully.
The woman in the photo wore simple attire and sported a hairstyle from the Republican era. Despite that, her exceptional temperant could not be hidden.

Qiushu looked intently, comparing the woman’s features with her grandmother’s in her mind. However, the face of youth and the face of old age made it impossible for Qiushu to draw an accurate comparison.
Her grandmother had once shown her pictures of her and her sister, carefree and cheery, but those were seen only a few tis, more reflective of their girlhood. Now the woman in the photo had clearly beco a young wife, with features that had also changed sowhat.
