"Dean, I’m not trying to cause trouble." An Hao’s eyes were red and filled with tears as she said to the dean, "Please, let get on the helicopter. The injured commander being transported to the hospital is my husband!"
The dean was stunned for a few seconds upon hearing this. Instead of blocking An Hao, he joined her in frantically waving at the helicopter, signaling, "Stop, stop, hold on!"
The pilot was already taking off with the helicopter.
Suddenly, he noticed two people on the rooftop, waving and shouting desperately.
He turned his head and asked Yan Ye, "Dr. Yan, are the people down there calling for you?"
Yan Ye leaned close to the window to look down and saw An Hao and the dean waving frantically.
In that instant, he realized the secret was out.
An Hao’s presence on the rooftop confird that she must know.
"Can I bring another assistant on board?" Yan Ye asked.
"Sure."
The pilot opened the cabin door after responding and motioned for them to lower the rope ladder.
An Hao ran over quickly as the rope ladder was lowered and gripped it tightly, starting to climb upward.
"Be careful!" The dean reminded her, watching her intently and silently wishing them well.
The warriors in the cabin quickly pulled the rope ladder up, and the cabin door slowly closed.
An Hao safely entered the cabin.
"You found out?" Yan Ye asked her as she fastened her seatbelt.
"Yes. Why didn’t you tell ?" An Hao asked Yan Ye, her eyes red with tears.
"Right now, his condition is unclear. I thought about it for a long ti and decided not to tell you. I was afraid you’d worry too much!"
"But if you don’t tell , I’ll still find out eventually! When I do, my worry won’t be any less than it is now! If Qin Jian really... really... at least I can be by his side to see him one last ti." An Hao choked up as she spoke.
"Who’s the bigmouth who leaked the news so quickly?" Yan Ye asked angrily. Logically, this should have been confidential, and only the dean, Dr. Lu, and herself were aware.
"Sorry, it was ." Dr. Lu looked at them apologetically. "The surgery had been scheduled, but it was suddenly canceled. The patient was already prepared to go on the operating table. If I couldn’t provide a reasonable explanation, the patient wouldn’t have understood."

After venting her frustration, An Hao continued reading the file. The age and blood type matched Qin Jian’s, which confird for her that the injured person was indeed Qin Jian.
She kept reading the file’s details, and after finishing, she understood.
It turned out Qin Jian had suffered a gunshot wound. The angle of the bullet’s entry was highly tricky, and most surgeons wouldn’t dare attempt to remove it.
