"Mu Mian, wake up!" An Hao gently patted her, and seeing her unconscious, An Hao pressed firmly on the acupoint between her nose and upper lip.

Mu Qiankun was sleeping in a daze when suddenly he heard a flurry of footsteps.
Dammit!
His heart sank in shock, and he hurriedly flipped upright.
It must be the anti-drug task force catching up!
He tightly gripped the handgun in his palm, scanning his surroundings under the moonlight. To his dismay, apart from the giant sleeping nearby and Lin Sheng, everyone else had vanished.
"Wake up! Get the hell up!" He climbed to his feet and viciously kicked the giant and Lin Sheng awake. "They’re here! Quickly, get ready for a fight!"
The giant snapped into wakefulness instantly, hurriedly drawing his handgun and loading a round.
Lin Sheng, however, moved much more sluggishly. He had taken a hard blow to the back of his head, leaving him in agonizing pain. Thinking back to earlier events, realizing the rat was missing, and noticing Mu Mian and the hostage were gone, he felt a wrenching fear grip his chest. "Uncle Mu, the rat is gone, and Mu Mian and the hostage are missing! That damned rat knocked out earlier..."
"We don’t have ti to deal with that now. With the rat watching them, they couldn’t have gone far. Right now, the priority is handling the threat in front of us." Mu Qiankun wiped the sweat from his brow.
"Brother Kun! I sense danger. Listen to those footsteps—they’re definitely outnumbering us! Just the three of us won’t stand a chance!" The giant’s pounding heart told him everything—he felt doom closing in.

The three of them hid behind separate trees, listening intently to the approaching footsteps in the darkness.

Imdiately, on the opposite side, dense gunfire erupted in response, bullets whizzing toward them. One struck the giant’s arm.
"Fire! Shoot them dead! Tear them apart!" Mu Qiankun roared furiously, and the firefight erupted in full force.
