The two photos depicted the tank models deployed in their military exercise, the participating units in the drill, and even captured his silhouette standing by the command headquarters.
"Take a guess!" Zhang Jianguo squinted his eyes, and the man who usually wore a warm smile now had a cold gleam in his gaze.
Qin Jian suddenly recalled the man they had captured that night, the one who clung stubbornly to lies: "Could it be him? Did he take these photos?"
"I can’t confirm if it was him, but that man definitely is suspicious." Zhang Jianguo was certain that this matter was inextricably linked to the man.
"Are you saying that man appeared in the exercise field to spy on our military secrets?"

"Exactly." Zhang Jianguo turned and walked toward the window. Staring at the rising crimson sun on the distant horizon, he spoke in a deep voice: "Since the founding of our nation, there hasn’t been a single day when enemies haven’t been coveting our land! The enemy’s attempts to steal our national secrets, our military secrets, have never ceased! As the nation’s army, we must capture all these vile culprits trying to undermine our achievents and safeguard our territorial security!"
"Yes!" Qin Jian stood at attention and responded sternly, "We must constantly stay vigilant! Once I return, I’ll repeatedly emphasize our troop’s confidentiality regulations to the warriors!"
"Good. As long as you understand."
"By the way, Commander, how did these photos co about?" This had been troubling Qin Jian all along.
"After you left, as I was leading the troops back, I happened to find a cara in the grass. Upon returning, I handed the film over to the relevant departnt for examination — sure enough, it’s related to this!"
