Just from her appearance, you can bet she’s not soone you’d want to provoke! I’m certain that if she found out you had feelings for her son-in-law, she wouldn’t let it slide!"

Gu Shuangshuang was enduring agony in the delivery room, her pain overwhelming. She never imagined childbirth could be this unbearable.

"Stop talking, hold your breath, and push... push harder!" The doctor coached Gu Shuangshuang. "Don’t waste all your energy on shouting."
Listening to the doctor, Gu Shuangshuang gathered every ounce of her strength and desperately bore down.
But no matter how hard she tried, the baby just wouldn’t co out.
She’d been in the delivery room for almost three hours, drenched in sweat from head to toe, as though soone had poured water over her.
"I can’t... I can’t anymore," she murmured weakly, completely drained, her body on the verge of collapse.
"The baby is too big! This is going to be difficult. It’s likely a case of dystocia," the nurse said anxiously. The contractions were weakening, and Gu Shuangshuang’s strength was fading. If this kept up, the baby might not survive.
The doctor dreaded situations like this the most.
When it ca to a difficult labor, it always led to a painful dilemma.
"Should I ask the patient’s family whether they want to save the mother or the baby?" the nurse suggested.
"Hurry, go ask!"
The nurse rushed out of the delivery room, standing at the door and shouting, "Who’s Gu Shuangshuang’s family?"
"! I’m her husband!" Tian Niu leaped forward as soon as he heard the nurse calling. "How is she? Has my wife delivered the baby yet?"
