In the north room, a few people were discussing matters of repaying debt.

An Shuchao listened with reddened eyes, his heart aching.
His soft heart led him to open the cabinet and take out the passbook hidden in the pocket of so clothes, handing it to An Baoguo: “I have a three thousand yuan passbook here. Let the kids pay off so debt tomorrow, and I’ll find a way to handle the remaining amount.”

An Ping walked in just as this scene unfolded.

An Ping was frantically trying to snatch the money, while An Baoguo was desperately trying to protect it.
Jiang Guixiang and An Hui ca to help, and the four of them wrestled into a heap, throwing punches, clawing, and scratching—none willing to let go first.
“Enough! Enough!” An Shuchao watched, angry, suddenly bursting into a roar and slamd the teapot onto the ground, “Let go, all of you let go of !”

“An Ping, give the passbook to your Second Uncle!”
“No!” An Ping was resolute, “Dad, that’s like feeding a at bun to a dog…”
“Give it to him!!”
Looking at his father’s furious face, An Ping felt a sense of unfamiliarity for the first ti.
He opened his mouth to say sothing to his father, but ultimately held back, throwing the passbook onto the ground before kicking aside a chair and slamming the door as he left.
He stord into An Hao’s room, saying only one sentence before leaving ho: “Dad’s gone crazy! Completely crazy!”
An Hao didn’t eat or cook lunch.
She laid on the bed the whole afternoon, pondering how to solve the current issue.
