An Ping was montarily speechless: "..."
He cast a resentful glance at An Hao, blaming him endlessly in his heart. How could he reveal An Ping’s thoughts in front of so many people?
"An Ping, which family’s girl have you taken a fancy to?" An Shuchao suddenly beca interested.
Over the past two years, as his son grew older, he hadn’t shown any interest in dating ever since breaking up with that Niu Shanshan.
An Shuchao had noticed this and it worried him. He had tried to advise his son, but to no avail.
Now, hearing that An Ping had soone in mind, he was naturally very happy.
"Dad, you’re joining in too!" An Ping was filled with frustration.
"What’s wrong with everyone being concerned about you? There’s nothing wrong with liking Tian Eri! The key here is my good relationship with her sister-in-law. You tell , we could use this connection to your advantage. Not using such a good opportunity would be silly, right?" An Hao felt concerned about her brother’s intelligence.
An Ping, having his thoughts exposed by his sister and being teased, felt a bit embarrassed. He had to say sothing to save face: "The key thing is I quite enjoy this current feeling."
"You know her, but she doesn’t even rember you, yet you enjoy it?" An Hao poured cold water on him again, making him face reality.
"Alright, sis! Can you create an opportunity for us to et soday?" An Ping said with a face full of defeat.
"That’s the way."
After half a day’s listening, An Hui finally asked, belatedly: "Who’s Tian Eri?"
"She’s the girl we ran into at the hospital the other day!" An Ping answered.
An Hui’s heart skipped a beat; it turns out he wasn’t the only one thinking about her.
"So, how does she look to you?" An Ping casually added.
An Hui felt a pang of annoyance, realizing that if they both liked her, he would surely be the one to lose.
Although it wasn’t like he had deep feelings for Tian Eri yet, at that mont he felt quite uneasy. If he continued declining like this, he figured he wouldn’t even be able to marry a good wife.
The more he thought about it, the more he felt he needed to make money, and a lot of it. One day, he would hold a thick wad of cash in his hands and throw it in An Hao and An Ping’s faces, to finally vent his frustration properly!
Show them who they were looking down on!!
Back in the rented room, An Baoguo lay on the bed, smoking one cigarette after another, filling the room with smoke, causing An Hui to cough repeatedly.
"Dad, smoke less!"
"It’s my only hobby," An Baoguo said, then started coughing himself.
"The doctor already told you to be careful. Your lungs aren’t good, so don’t smoke like your life depends on it."
An Hui said, frowning.
"I know. Stop worrying about ; it’s you who’s making frequent trips over there. People might think An Shuchao is your real dad," An Baoguo said with a hint of dissatisfaction.
"I’m doing this for our family, don’t you think I’d rather not go there?" An Hui retorted.
Jiang Guixiang ca through the door, hearing the father and son bickering.
But she was in a good mood after winning so money playing mahjong, so she urged, "Old An, just let the boy be. He’s not dumb. As if he could even mistake his own father?"
"Exactly," An Hui muttered.
"I’m just worried about throwing in a lot of money and not seeing any return. That girl in Boss’s family is as shrewd as they co, always scheming. I’m worried Huizi might end up with nothing to gain," An Baoguo said, taking a deep drag on his cigarette.
