This bookbag looks sowhat familiar, like the one... that Eri carried the other day.
Could the person inside be Eri!
An Ping shook his head and chuckled self-deprecatingly. How could that be possible? Eri and An Hui don’t know each other. Even if they did, there’s no way they would be involved.
Eri isn’t that kind of person!
But the more he looked, the more the bookbag seed like Eri’s, especially since one corner of the bag was torn.
Last ti he went out, he noticed this problem. He secretly went to the mall to buy a new bag, just waiting for the next ti he sees Eri to give it to her.
Since he felt suspicious, An Ping simply leaned over and grabbed the bag. Inside, there was a scent of roast duck, but the duck was nowhere to be found.
He rummaged through the bag and saw a familiar handkerchief inside.
This handkerchief was exactly the sa as the one Eri used to wipe his sweat.
It also carried the scent of facial cream, exactly like the scent on the handkerchief Eri gave him.
Could this just be a coincidence?
For a mont, An Ping’s heart was in turmoil.
An Hui erged from the room, fully dressed, "Let’s go, ti to eat."
He originally didn’t want to go for this al. Compared to eating, he’d rather take care of Eri first.
But if he didn’t leave, he feared Enping would stay longer here.
So he simply agreed to go eat with An Ping.
"Isn’t sister-in-law coming?" An Ping asked, seemingly inadvertently.
"Once we leave, your sister-in-law will leave by herself." An Hui lied.
"Alright! Then let’s go."
Hearing that they were finally leaving, An Hui breathed a sigh of relief.
He had just set foot outside the door, waiting for An Ping to co out and close the door when he saw An Ping turn around and head back inside, walking straight to the bedroom.
"An Ping!" An Hui shouted as he charged over.
But it was too late; An Ping had already pushed open the door. He stood at the doorway and saw the woman lying on the bed, her hair disheveled, two buttons on her clothes undone, shoes kicked off and lying on the floor, with flushed cheeks and the sll of alcohol thick in the air.
And the woman on the bed was none other than Tian Eri.
"What’s going on?" An Ping’s eyes were wide open as he stared intently at An Hui and asked.
Realizing he’d been caught, An Hui said nothing. He lowered his head, furrowed his brows, and remained silent.
"Didn’t you say she was sister-in-law? Explain this to !" An Ping roared as he went over to check on Tian Eri.
She was already drunk and unconscious, with a glaringly red slap mark still visible on her face.
She was wearing clothes, but An Ping couldn’t confirm if she had been violated.
A surge of unprecedented anger swept over him, from head to toe, stripping him of all reason in an instant.
An Ping was furious, itching to kill.
He jumped off the bed, raised his fist, and punched An Hui hard in the face.
An Hui didn’t dodge, or more accurately, he didn’t have ti to react.
An Ping’s iron fist smashed into his face. He staggered and fell heavily to the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood, along with two teeth.
"An Ping, are you crazy!" An Hui felt half his face go numb, the pain swiftly spreading throughout his body. "You hit your brother over a woman!"
