“What a coincidence, Miss Yuan!” Qin Jian greeted her, “I really didn’t expect you to be a kindergarten teacher. No wonder you said last ti that you couldn’t bear to see children encounter such troubles.”
“Yes.” Yuan Yunong smiled faintly, revealing shallow dimples, “Because I’m a kindergarten teacher. Seeing children naturally stirs a protective instinct in .”
“No wonder.” An Hao smiled, “People who can be kindergarten teachers are truly caring!”
“You’re really too kind! But Chenyang and Chenguang are indeed very likable children.”
“Are they naughty in kindergarten?” An Hao asked.
Sending a child to kindergarten is a big deal, and An Hao wanted to know everything about her children’s words and actions at school.
“Naughty. Two little troublemakers! But if boys aren’t naughty, where’s the fun? I still hope children can release their nature, and being a bit naughty is fine.” Yuan Yunong shared her viewpoint.
“Thank you, Miss Yuan! I really agree with your perspective.” This aligned with An Hao’s thoughts perfectly.
“That’s great. Actually, I just don’t want to suppress children’s nature! I want to find out their shining points and help them develop them! That’s all.” Yuan Yunong said.
“Miss Yuan, may I ask how many years you’ve been involved in early childhood education?” An Hao asked, then added, “I an, you seem to understand children very well! It must not be a short ti?”
“Three years. I was working out of town all this ti and only ca back when the district kindergarten was hiring teachers. So I ca over. Luckily, I was selected in the interview.”
“You only ca this year?”
“Last year.” Yuan Yunong thought for a mont, “I think it was around the ti we t last! At that ti, I had already passed the interview and was waiting to start work. You know the district kindergarten allocates dormitories to employees. I was just back to pack my things, so I bumped into you then.”
“Oh! So that’s how it was!”
The two had been chatting for quite a while, and the children at the kindergarten had mostly arrived, with the bell for class ringing.
Yuan Yunong hastily ended the conversation, “Sorry, I have to go teach the kids. Let’s chat again if there’s a chance!”
“Okay. Miss Yuan, take care of your tasks!”
Coming out of the kindergarten, Qin Jian and An Hao walked side by side on a pathway covered with yellow leaves.
An Hao looked down at the road surface, pondering sothing silently for a long ti.
“What’s wrong? What are you thinking about? Why so silent?” Qin Jian asked.
“Nothing. I just keep thinking about what happened on the night of the Lantern Festival.” An Hao said, frowning slightly, “It’s been filed for so long, hasn’t anything been figured out yet?”
“No. They’ve been investigating, but because of your special status, the police haven’t relaxed, though the scene was disrupted and it’s been tough to investigate.” Qin Jian said.
“Oh, right. Didn’t my dad wake up early? Didn’t he provide any useful clues?” An Hao asked.
“He doesn’t rember many things clearly. At the ti, he was solely focused on how to rescue you. Other matters might have been overlooked.”
An Hao tried to recall the events of that day in her mind. Her brain had suffered trauma, and her mory wasn’t as good as before.
But the events of that day were deeply engraved in her mory, and she could never forget them.
