Capítulo 2004: Chapter 1997: A Minor Incident
The teachers led the children in a line, walking out of the classroom.
Qin Jian stood at the door watching each child being picked up, but didn’t see their two little ones.
He was about to ask what was going on when he saw the kindergarten teacher walking over.
“Are you Ning Chenyang and Ning Chenguang’s father?”
“Yes. I’m here to pick up the children, but I haven’t seen either of them. Did sothing happen?” Qin Jian asked.
“Yes. The two children are not feeling well, and Teacher Yuan is taking care of them. You should co in and take a look!” another teacher, surnad Liu, said.
“Alright.” Qin Jian’s heart sank, and he quickly followed her into the small class’s classroom.
On the little beds where the children took their naps, Ning Chenyang and Ning Chenguang were lying there, their little faces flushed, looking as if they had a fever.
“Teacher Yuan, I’m here to pick up the children.” Qin Jian said solemnly.
Yuan Yunong saw Qin Jian coming and quickly stood up, apologetically saying, “Captain Qin, I’m really sorry. I didn’t take good care of them, and the children have a fever.”
“It’s alright. Their physical condition is a bit weak, so having a fever is normal.” Qin Jian said this, but his eyebrows were slightly furrowed.
Yuan Yunong noticed the displeasure on Qin Jian’s face and quickly explained, “It’s like this, after the children finished playing gas in the afternoon, I let everyone rest. Chenyang and Chenguang said they were a little sleepy, so I let them rest on the little beds.”
But she didn’t expect that the reason the two children were sleepy was because they had a fever.
“That’s right! At that ti, Teacher Yuan and I also checked their temperature, and it wasn’t high, but unexpectedly, after waking up from a nap, they had started to run a fever,” another teacher explained.
“It’s alright. It’s not your fault, the children’s bodies are indeed weak! I’m just worried about the children.” Qin Jian, afraid the teachers might misunderstand, explained to them.
At this ti, Yuan Yunong rembered that in the morning, when Zhang Yun sent the children, their clothes were wrapped tightly, afraid they would get cold.
After arriving here, they let the children do activities, which might have caused the transition from cold to hot, resulting in them getting sick.
“Captain Qin, as they say, ‘layer up in spring, and layer down in fall.’ Actually, it’s okay for children to dress a little lighter, the most important thing is avoiding dressing them too warmly and then taking it off after activity! This can easily make them sick. As military personnel, you should understand this well,” Yuan Yunong said.
“That’s right.” Qin Jian agreed.
“I want to say that I was also frail and sickly as a child, but I often exercised with my father, and over ti my health improved. As a soldier, you run exercises every morning, why not take the two children with you?” Yuan Yunong suggested.
“That’s a good idea. I was planning on doing just that, thank you. If everything is alright, Teacher Yuan, I’ll take the children ho now,” Qin Jian said.
“No problem, are you sure you can manage with the two of them alone?” Yuan Yunong asked with concern.
“It’s alright. I can carry them back. However, could you please pass one of the children?”
Qin Jian picked up Chenyang, and Yuan Yunong handed Chenguang to his arms.
He walked out of the kindergarten with one child in each arm.
Yuan Yunong followed him out, just in ti to see the back of Qin Jian walking with the children.
She originally thought it’d be difficult for him, but unexpectedly he carried the two children with ease, as if he wasn’t carrying anything at all.
