“Yes.” Yuan Yunong nodded, her lips curling into a slight smile, tinged with a hint of delight.
“Really? Teacher Yuan is such a beautiful person. Her boyfriend must be quite remarkable too, right? So, when do you plan to get married?” Zhang Yun picked up the topic from An Hao.
At her age, she’s just overly enthusiastic.
When they see a pretty girl reaching a marriageable age, they’re more inclined to show concern about such personal matters.
“I don’t know. But it should be soon.” Talking about her boyfriend made Yuan Yunong quite happy.
“Where is your boyfriend from? If there’s a chance, I’d really like to see what kind of boyfriend a graceful and beautiful girl like Teacher Yuan would find.” An Hao said with a smiling gaze.
Zhang Yun found it strange hearing her daughter-in-law speak like that.
Since when did An Hao, like those elder ladies, start showing interest in other people’s personal issues?
“I’d love to show him to you, but I’m afraid you won’t get to see him for a while.” Yuan Yunong noticed the hint of curiosity in An Hao’s eyes and smiled as she said, “He is abroad. He doesn’t co back often, but if he does co back soday, I’ll definitely introduce him to you.”
“That would be great.”
The al lasted for more than an hour, and after lunch, Yuan Yunong lingered for a short while before getting ready to leave.
At that mont, Qin Jian ca back from outside, carrying a chill in the air.
He greeted Yuan Yunong in passing and went straight upstairs.

Qin Jian went upstairs and dove straight into the room. When An Hao opened the door, she saw him burying his head in writing at the desk.
An Hao didn’t disturb him. She went straight to the bed, put the bedding in order, and got a hot water bottle, filled it halfway with hot water, and tucked it under the sheets.
The weather was cold, and it was freezing to get into bed at night.
There was an electric blanket at ho, but after a problem with it once, An Hao dared not use it again.
So, since winter began, she had been using a hot water bottle every night.
Once the bed was made, An Hao checked the ti, saw that it was still early, and took out the clothes for the next day from the closet, placing them by the bedside.
Qin Jian’s military uniform was hanging over the back of a chair. An Hao noticed a dirty spot at the elbow, so she picked it up to wash it when a whiff of gunpowder hit her nose as she leaned in.
“What did you go out for just now?” An Hao couldn’t help but ask.
“Went to the shooting range.” Qin Jian answered without looking up.
“Why so late? Who was on the phone just now?”
Qin Jian put down his pen, turned around, and saw An Hao’s curious face, “It’s classified.”
“You don’t have to say if it’s inconvenient.” An Hao glanced at Qin Jian, her tone clearly carrying so discontent.
“There’s nothing inconvenient about it.” Qin Jian smiled faintly and said, “It’s just that there’s no one else at ho. Telling you is fine, but you must keep it a secret!”
“Of course, I know. That’s why we didn’t ntion a word while Teacher Yuan was here,” An Hao said.
“‘Zero’ has been developed. Now it’s our turn to trial and test its data. I just got a call saying there was a little problem, so I went to check it out.” Qin Jian explained.
