By dusk, the house was already spotless.
Looking at the cozy ho, An Hao had a satisfied smile on her face.
"Going out for dinner tonight?" Qin Jian wrapped his arm around An Hao’s shoulder and sat down to ask.
"Let’s just stay ho. I’m not tired at all today! I’ll prepare sothing nice for us! It’s the first ti our little family of four is having a al by ourselves, right?"
"That’s right! We never had a ti for just the two of us, but from now on we can enjoy our world of four!" Qin Jian gently kissed his wife’s cheek as he stood up, "What delicious food do you want to make tonight? I’ll go buy the groceries now!"
"Buy whatever you like! As long as you can bring it back, I can cook it!" An Hao said.
"Great. Looks like I’ll be in luck from now on! I can eat your cooking every day!" Qin Jian said laughing contentedly, "And from now on, we don’t have to worry about the neighbors downstairs hearing the bed creaking anymore."
An Hao instantly understood what he ant, and her face flushed red: "Hurry up and go! Stop dawdling."
"Wifey, I love seeing you blush. So cute!" Qin Jian leaned in again, held An Hao’s nape, gave her a deep kiss, and then left.
Taking advantage of the free ti, An Hao played with the two children and building blocks for a while. As the sky got dark, Qin Jian still hadn’t returned.
An Yang was muttering, could he really get lost just buying groceries?
Soon after, she heard a lee of footsteps and voices from the hallway outside. An Hao was about to get up to answer the door, when she heard the sound of the lock turning.
The door opened.
But it wasn’t just Qin Jian who walked in.
Behind him were Tian Niu, Gu Shuangshuang, Nannan, Yan Ye, and surprisingly, Zhao Dong too.
"How did you manage to turn a grocery trip into bringing back so many people?" An Hao looked at the crowd in surprise, calculating in her mind how much food she needed to make tonight.
"What? You’re not welcoming us, sister-in-law?!" Zhao Dong said with a chuckle. "You moved house so suddenly. Otherwise, I was thinking I missed out on helping, I might as well catch up for dinner! I heard your cooking is top-notch! So, I’m here to mooch dinner!"
"Not saying a word about moving, that’s not cool! Luckily, I ran into Captain Qin midway, otherwise, I’d be worried about my second sister going on a date tonight and having no one to cook for !"
Who are these people? Lining up just to mooch dinner!
"I just bumped into Qin Jian on the street! Qiushu has a business eting tonight, so I was all alone, and when I heard you moved house, I ca along!" Yan Ye explained himself.
"It’s so late for a business eting, and you didn’t go with her? Aren’t you worried about Qiushu, just a woman, being scared!" An Hao joked.
"It’s fine. Just familiar folks!" Yan Ye said, pointing to the sofa inside the room, "Not inviting us to sit?"
"Co on in. Everyone co in!" An Hao warmly invited them all inside. Just as she finished brewing tea, she heard another knock on the door. She walked over to open it, and was stunned to see who stood outside, "Mr. Yuan!"
"Dr. An! Are you surprised to see ?" Yuan Yunong asked with a playful smile.
"I’m indeed surprised," An Hao said, delighted, "Because I never expected you would co! Mr. Yuan, please co in!"
