"You’re absolutely right. Hou Zicheng’s business has been really bad lately, and he knows many people are playing the stock market! So, he approached Qiushu. I rember Qin Jian told Qiushu before that Hou Zicheng is up to no good and advised Qiushu to keep her distance! But this guy sticks to Qiushu like a fly and can’t seem to shake him off."
Yan Ye also has a strong dislike for Hou Zicheng, and he has t this boss a few tis along the way, expressing his views both openly and subtly.
It’s hard to tell whether this boss really doesn’t get it or is just pretending.
Whenever it’s brought up, he just laughs it off, but afterward, he still clings to Qiushu.
"Since Qiushu has handled all her future business deals, let her cut ties with this Hou Zicheng early," An Hao suggested.
"Qiushu thinks the sa way."

After chatting for a while, An Hao started feeling sleepy and was just getting into a comfortable position to nap in her seat.

He even thought about when he and Lin Qiushu first got together, wondering if he’d done sothing similar.

"Yuan Yunong has a boyfriend, I know that," An Hao said. "Before introducing them personally, Yuan Yunong made her stance clear. She and Zhao Dong are just friends."
"That doesn’t add up!" Yan Ye always gets straight to the point, "If Zhao Dong knew from the start that Yuan Yunong had a boyfriend, then, Zhao Dong, being a soldier and a self-disciplined person, wouldn’t knowingly go to the movies with soone who has a boyfriend and sneakily try to hold her hand, right?"
"So are you saying? Yuan Yunong might have broken up with her boyfriend?" An Hao felt dizzy, being led around in circles by Yuanye’s words.
In class, Yan Ye never beat around the bush like this, always getting straight to the point and laying things out clearly for them to see.
"What I’m saying is! Is it possible Yuan Yunong is playing both sides?"
"But she might have broken up with her original boyfriend and started seeing Zhao Dong?" An Hao said, "That’s also possible."
