Before Yan Huan could speak, there was a knock on the door from outside.
"Soone’s here..." She pointed at the door, signaling to Ji Chuan to keep his distance.
No sooner had she said that than the door clicked open, and a familiar voice filled the air: "Director Ji..."

Cheng Yue was holding a stack of dical records to get the director’s signature. As he opened the door, he was greeted by such a strange and awkward scene.
"I’m sorry, Director Ji! I was too hasty." He bowed his head and was about to leave when he suddenly realized this back looked familiar. Tentatively, he called out, "Yan Huan?"
"Ah?" Yan Huan pushed Ji Chuan away in a hurry when she heard Cheng Yue call her na. She turned around to look at Cheng Yue, her face still flushed.
Seeing the blush on her pretty face, as vivid as the evening glow, Cheng Yue’s heart sank.
Their eyes t in the air, and a hint of pain flashed in Cheng Yue’s gaze, as he stared at Yan Huan without blinking.
Yan Huan, pretending to be indifferent, avoided his gaze and casually brushed the hair by her ear.
Ji Chuan saw this entire scene clearly.
In an instant, he confird that Cheng Yue was the man occupying Yan Huan’s heart.
"Cheng Yue, did you need sothing from ?" Ji Chuan spoke, breaking the awkward silence.
"Director Ji, I need your signature on these dical records." Cheng Yue approached, and as he walked past Yan Huan, he pressed his lips tightly.
"Since you two have sothing to do, I’ll leave first!" Yan Huan stood up, ready to flee, but Ji Chuan’s words stopped her in her tracks.
"Huanhuan! Your ear doesn’t hurt anymore?" Ji Chuan smiled at her gently, his voice softer than ever, his peach blossom eyes sparkling at her, "Sit down and rest for a bit. I’ll take you out for a walk once I’m done signing."
Hiss~
Yan Huan took a sharp breath: "Ji Chuan, speak properly. You’re going to make my cheeks sore."
Ji Chuan winked at her and said, "Sore? That’s nothing compared to how cheesy your words to were that night!"
"What did I say to you?!!" Yan Huan shouted, stomping her foot, seeing Cheng Yue’s face grow gloomier, "Ji Chuan, stop talking nonsense!"
"I swear! I’m not making things up. You said my lips looked beautiful and wondered what they tasted like!" Ji Chuan said clearly.
"Pff~" Yan Huan almost spat out blood, "Ji Chuan, you... you’re driving crazy. I’m leaving!"
"Huanhuan, you can’t leave! I promised your mom I wouldn’t let you go ho in the dark." Ji Chuan smiled at the edge of Yan Huan’s impending breakdown.
"Director Ji! Sorry, could you finish signing before continuing your love affair?!" Cheng Yue’s heart was pounding. Only God knew how furious it was!
"Sorry, my bad!" Ji Chuan patted his head, looking as if he just realized, "Forgive for forgetting you! Considering it’s my first ti dating at my age, forgive !
Cheng Yue let out a cold snort.
After signing, he turned to leave. When he reached Yan Huan, he hesitated, almost reaching out to grab her wrist, but then Ji Chuan’s voice ca from behind: "Sorry! Next ti when you knock, wait for to say ’co in’ before you enter!"
