"Mom, you’re in such a good mood today!" Yan Ye went to the kitchen to pour water for Qiushu, seeing his mother busy and delighted, "If I’d known you would fancy Ji Chuan, I would’ve introduced him to Yan Huan a long ti ago."

"Hello, Auntie!" Ji Chuan handed over the items he was carrying, "Just a small token of appreciation, please accept it!"
"You didn’t need to bring anything, just coming over is enough," Feng Yuzhi said, though she was thrilled inside. The more she looked at this prospective son-in-law, the more sensible and agreeable he seed, "Co in and have a seat!"
"Where’s Yan Huan?" Ji Chuan asked casually as he entered.
"She’s still at the base, I’ve already reminded her to co back soon. Why don’t you sit with Yan Ye for a bit?"
