June’s weather changes as unpredictably as a child’s moods.
Just now, the sky was clear, but a thick mass of dark clouds heralds a coming storm.
Ji Chuan dragged his heavy steps along the road, as the wind rocked the branches incessantly, and pedestrians hurriedly quickened their pace to seek shelter from the rain.
"Cheng Yue! Let’s go ho?" Shen Qiqi yelled loudly into Cheng Yue’s ear, trying to hold down her dress fluttering wildly in the wind.
"I’m sorry, Qiqi. You go back on your own! I want to be alone." The news hit her hard, and Cheng Yue couldn’t process it all at once.
His heart felt heavy and oppressed, and he had no words to express his pain.

He didn’t know how long he had been walking when he suddenly heard several loud sneezes behind him.
Cheng Yue slowly turned around and saw Shen Qiqi wrapping her arms around herself, head bowed, following him all the way.
"Qiqi... why didn’t you go ho?" He stopped and looked through the heavy rain at Shen Qiqi who was soaked to the skin.
"If you’re not going back, I’m not going back. I already said I’d stay with you; whenever you go back, I’ll go back." Shen Qiqi wiped the rain from her face, looking at him with sadness.
"You’ll catch a cold this way."
"I don’t care."
"I’m a man, I’m strong! You can’t!" Cheng Yue rembered Shen Qiqi’s father’s appeal; he said Qiqi was happy today, and told him not to upset her. Looks like he’s going to break that promise again.
"I don’t mind. As long as I’m with you!" Shen Qiqi stepped forward and helped wipe the rain off Cheng Yue’s face, saying, "Don’t forget, you promised to be my lover for twenty-four hours. You can’t break your word! As for your feelings with Yan Huan, you’ll have plenty of days to grieve in the future. Today, why not forget all of it, okay?"
"I’m not going back to Nancheng anymore," Cheng Yue said.
