Upon seeing the Extre Protection Ring instantly drop by over 300 defense points, Sunan couldn’t help but feel a jolt down his spine.

Even after breaking through two layers of defense, it could still knock down over 300 defense points off the Extre Protection Ring. What kind of strength was this?!

If he had suffered such a blow without any preparation, there might not even be a complete corpse left behind, as the body would be directly torn apart!

Noticing the Hundred-ard Monster preparing to throw weapons again, Sunan unhesitatingly used the Mirror Image Skill, causing himself to instantly split into five, scattering in different directions.

Seeing this, the Hundred-ard Monster was montarily dumbfounded, hesitating for quite a while before finally throwing its weapon at Sunan on the right-hand side.

The weapon passed through its chest, and that ’Sunan’ twisted and evaporated into the air.

"Roar!"

The Hundred-ard Monster was extrely frustrated but dared not randomly throw weapons again.

After all, it didn’t have many weapons, and the arm losing its weapon would have no choice but to face the group of iron stones barehanded.

With the clones disrupting its sight, Sunan could finally focus on attacking from behind without worry.

Instantly, two more High-level Rune Gemstones were thrown, transforming into thunder and flas to strike the Hundred-ard Monster!

Shrill cries of agony echoed continuously above the basin.

Up until now, the Hundred-ard Monster had lost about half of its arms and over a third of its heads, severely injured throughout.

It wanted to get rid of Sunan first, but surrounded by the Golems, it couldn’t even get close to him.

With its thod of weapon throwing nullified, it couldn’t pose any threat to Sunan, helplessly watching him attack from the rear.

Occasionally, it also had to beware of the Hidden Dragon suddenly erging for an ambush!

Even back in the perilous underground world, it never fought such a humiliating battle!

Crack!

The Hundred-ard Monster smashed another Elite Stone Golem again.

As the number of arms decreased, its combat power was significantly weakened.

Previously, all arms concentrated fire three or four tis to take down a Golem, whereas now it took quite a while of hacking to eventually topple just one.

At this mont, Sunan had already thrown the seventh High-level Rune Gemstone.

Under the blinding thunder strike, seven or eight arms of the Hundred-ard Monster turned into ashes.

Taking advantage of the Hundred-ard Monster’s brief paralysis, the Hidden Dragon stealthily erged and bit off three of the monster’s arms.

Before the Hundred-ard Monster could counterattack, it quickly vanished into the void, disappearing without a trace.

Gravely injured, the Hundred-ard Monster finally felt the threat of death, attempting to flee imdiately upon recovering from paralysis.

Seeing this, Sunan promptly commanded the Golems to abandon defense and advance to block it, while the Hidden Dragon also ceased hiding, charging directly at the Hundred-ard Monster.

anwhile, Sunan also drew out the eighth High-level Rune Gemstone.

In the joint attack from the Wizard Apprentice, Magical Pet, and Golems, the arms of the Hundred-ard Monster were quickly destroyed.

Without any ans of attack, it had no opportunity to turn the tables or escape, with its heads successively destroyed.

Accompanied by a halting scream, the massive body of the Hundred-ard Monster collapsed, kicking up a huge cloud of dust.

Without letting down his guard, Sunan unleashed several Shattering Sound Waves at the upper body of the Hundred-ard Monster, until bombing the torso connecting all its heads and arms into oblivion. Ensured it was dead without question, only then did Sunan breathe a sigh of relief.

"Finally got rid of this guy!"

Sunan glanced around.

After the battle, all four Elite Stone Golems were annihilated, with one Steel Golem also destroyed.

Just these four Golems resulted in losses of over 9000 Gold Coins.

Adding the consumption of eight High-level Rune Gemstones, this battle had Sunan spending nearly 13000 Gold Coins.

He couldn’t help but grimace in pain.

Until recalling the silver and gold mines in the cavern, his mood improved significantly.

As long as he could develop these silver and gold mines, the 13000 Gold Coins could be swiftly recovered.

Composing himself, Sunan stepped forward to inspect the Hundred-ard Monster’s corpse, focusing on its magical armor.

Upon closer inspection, he noticed that the magical armor the monster wore was not a good fit.

Relative to its enormous body, the magical armor seed sowhat small, deforming under the strain.

"Looks like the magical armor was sothing this guy accidentally found sowhere and then forcibly squeezed onto itself."

Sunan’s Biological Transformation had reached level 3, quite accomplished in this area. Observing for a while, he confird that the Hundred-ard Monster’s ghastly appearance was not due to modifications but naturally grown or mutated.

Coupled with its ill-fitting armor, it could largely eliminate the suspicion that the Hundred-ard Monster was a creature altered by so Wizard (Apprentice).

Sunan then used Mage’s Hand to remove the magical armor from the monster.

Though he couldn’t use this magical armor, observing its material cost seed expensive, and disassembling it might yield so rare tals.

As for the monster’s corpse, it held no use for Sunan, so he burned it to ashes directly.

Having done all this, Sunan turned his gaze toward the hole from which the Hundred-ard Monster erged.

Thinking for a mont, he decided to explore.

Keeping the Golems in the cube, as usual Sunan let the Hidden Dragon phase its body and lead the way, stepping into the cave afterward with the beast.

The passage behind the entrance was unexpectedly spacious, nearly double the size of the one they entered from.

As expected, the Hundred-ard Monster with its massive fra could traverse through, so the space couldn’t be small.

Walking for roughly two to three hundred ters, Sunan arrived at a wide and vast cave.

On the ground scattered many bones marked with bite marks, emitting a foul sll.

Obviously, this was the residence of the Hundred-ard Monster.

Deeper into the cave, there was an eerie dark entrance, leading to unknown paths.

Having arrived at this point, Sunan certainly wouldn’t stop, continuing further inward.

This passage remained spacious and lengthy.

Sunan estimated he walked several hundred ters, yet still couldn’t see the end.

Until he roughly walked seven to eight hundred ters, the passage suddenly turned downward.

Sunan furrowed his brows and didn’t command the Hidden Dragon to proceed downward, but instead cast a Floating Skill on himself, then gently drifted down.

After descending about twenty ters, a hole just wide enough for one person appeared in front of Sunan, with faint light visible from outside.

Hesitating slightly, Sunan continued to float downward, yet the space grew increasingly narrow, rendering it impassable to ordinary beings eventually.

Using a crystal stone reinforced with Light Skill for illumination, the bottom of the passage appeared sealed, lacking an exit.

Upon seeing this, Sunan returned to the previous hole and went through it.

His view suddenly opened up.

Revealed in sight were dense, hanging stalactites like threatening sharp swords.

Sunan examined around, discovering he was in a colossal cave shaped like an inverted bell, where the stalactites were hanging from its top.

The passage he erged from was actually a hollow stalactite.

These stalactites adorned with nurous shining crystal stones sparkled, blanketing the cave in a suffused glow.

Looking down, the bottom of the cave was a vast and deep lake, embedded like a gemstone in the center of the cave.

In the heart of the lake there lay an island.

The island was scattered with many stone structures, through which figures seed to move in and out.

"Is this... an underground city!"

Sunan widened his eyes.

The enlightened beings of the underground world often lived in city-states to repel external threats.

Nurous city-states of varying sizes were spread throughout the vast underground world.

Small city-states might have only a few thousand inhabitants.

Whereas large city-states could house populations over a hundred thousand.

The island before him was clearly a small city-state.

Sunan never expected that beneath the forest near Flash City, a city-state from the underground world would be concealed.

This was truly...

For a mont, Sunan didn’t quite know how to describe it.

The presence of an underground city-state was not good news for Flash City.

Underground residents often harbored hostile intentions toward surface neighbors, and one day might invade the surface, bringing war and disaster.

However, for Sunan, it might actually be beneficial.

If he was lucky, perhaps he could find many precious materials in this city-state rarely seen on the surface.
