Hulan City, Starfire Sect Church.
Even in the center city of the province, where land is extrely valuable, the Starfire Sect Church occupies a large area in the city center.
The church buildings are constructed lavishly, even the outer walls are made of expensive marble, exuding luxury everywhere.
At this mont, however, a distinguished guest has arrived in the church’s reception hall.
Blake and Yoris hurriedly ca, just entering the hall when they saw Marquis Hulan sitting on the sofa with a dark expression, the red tea in front of him untouched.
The two exchanged a glance, their eyes sparkling briefly.
"Long ti no see, Marquis, it’s rare to see a distinguished guest like yourself here, truly brightening up our church."
Yoris squeezed a smile on his face, starting with a flattering remark.
However, Marquis Hulan wasn’t swayed by this at all, responding coldly: "I fear if I don’t co soon, I might not have another chance."
Blake chuckled: "Marquis, you must be joking..."
Marquis Hulan rudely interrupted him: "I am not joking with you!"
He tossed a battle report onto the coffee table.
"In just two months, I’ve lost a count, three viscounts, and thirteen barons under my command, all openly killed by Sunan storming into the lord’s mansion and leaving without a trace!"
"Now, all nobles in my territory are in a panic, fearing that Sunan, that God of Death, might co for them one day, and even I, as a marquis, feel no sense of security!"
"Before this, how did your Starfire Sect promise ?"
"You said you would deal with Sunan, but what happened?"
"You’ve all been made miserable by Sunan yourselves, right!"
Blake and Yoris both looked a bit embarrassed, unable to utter a single word in rebuttal.
In truth, during this period, the Starfire Sect’s losses have also been significant.
In every town where a lord was assassinated, the local Starfire Sect branch was inevitably destroyed, and almost all followers were completely wiped out.
The successive bad news left the two priests terrified.
Sunan’s demonstrated strength had far surpassed the intelligence they had previously gathered.

Marquis Hulan still wore a dark expression, but his tone had softened a bit.

Blake and Yoris exchanged a glance, both looking rather surprised.
They weren’t quite sure about this; after all, the Starfire Sect’s influence hasn’t extended into the military, and their acquisition speed of battle reports certainly can’t match Marquis Hulan’s.
However, eight or nine hundred Stone Golems is quite a shocking number.
Clearly, during the battle against Marquis Golden Rock, Flashing Territory only had fewer than two hundred Stone Golems.
Where did Sunan get the resources to manufacture so many Golem Puppets?
Yoris’s expression suddenly shifted, blurting out: "Forest Cabin!"
Blake quickly caught on, nodding in agreent and saying:
"Indeed, it must be the Forest Cabin supporting Sunan from behind."
"Otherwise, relying solely on Flashing Territory’s revenue, it would be impossible for Sunan to manufacture that many golems."
"Forest Cabin?" Marquis Hulan’s face showed so uncertainty, "I’ve heard so things about this Wizard Organization, but isn’t Forest Cabin supposed to conduct affairs discreetly and rarely intervene in matters of various nations?"
Yoris sneered: "Perhaps that was the case before, but now Sunan is likely already a part of Forest Cabin. We don’t know what he used to persuade the other wizards, but previously, they destroyed quite a few of our church branches."
"So it was them." Marquis Hulan’s face showed a hint of sudden realization.
Previously, he had heard about Starfire Sect churches being attacked in several cities, and was puzzled which force was responsible; he hadn’t expected it to be the Forest Cabin.
Yet suddenly, Marquis Hulan’s complexion turned sowhat grim again.
A single Sunan was already a tough problem, and adding Forest Cabin into the mix, could they manage it?
For a mont, Marquis Hulan suddenly felt a bit regretful.
Shouldn’t he have hesitated longer before taking a stance, aligning with the royal family?
Perhaps he should have delayed and made his decision after seeing the full picture!
Seeing Marquis Hulan’s change of expression clearly, Yoris and Blake could easily guess what the other was concerned about.
Blake was about to offer a few words of comfort when suddenly an elderly voice echoed by his ear.
"This matter doesn’t involve Forest Cabin."
Yoris and Blake turned swiftly, their faces lighting up with joy.
"Great Priest!"
"You’ve exited seclusion!"
The person who suddenly appeared in the hall was an old man with frost-white hair.
