Sunan’s expression was cold and indifferent, continuously releasing wave after wave of Acid Splash.

He targeted the knight-level Black-scaled Lizardn.

In just the span of a dozen breaths, the number of Black-scaled Lizardn who died from his magic reached seven.

The Black-scaled Lizardn were already at a disadvantage, and with Sunan’s intervention, the situation beca increasingly unfavorable for them.

The balance of victory gradually tilted towards Black Stone City.

"Roar!"

At that mont, a roar suddenly exploded!

The Lizardman chief noticed Sunan’s threat, intending to kill this human with strange powers first.

But as it was about to act, Kei intercepted it.

"Lizard head, your opponent is !"

Kei sneered while swinging his sword.

The peak knight-level strength combined with the Strength Potion’s boost made this strike produce a piercing boom as it sliced through the air.

The Lizardman chief’s pupils contracted, afraid to take the hit directly, hurriedly dodging back, losing its chance to approach Sunan.

"Gee lu wa ji..."

The Lizardman chief emitted a strange and sharp sound.

Kei assud it was cursing in frustration, ignoring it as he prepared to continue his attack, when he suddenly sensed sothing was wrong and quickly glanced towards Sunan’s direction.

A huge black shadow, unnoticed when it appeared at the rear of the battlefield, swiftly charged towards Sunan.

Brad noticed the shadow first, turned abruptly, and shouted angrily, raising his Black Stone Iron shield to collide with the incoming shadow!

Bang!

Amidst the deafening muffled sound, Brad was flung away like a broken kite.

In contrast, the shadow only stepped back a few paces and shook its head before returning to normal.

Taking advantage of this mont, Sunan clearly saw the true form of the shadow.

It was a giant lizard, seven or eight ters long, covered entirely with hard black-red scales.

"I didn’t expect these lizard heads to play the old trick of luring the east to attack the west."

Sunan smirked, seemingly unfazed.

He had discovered the monster earlier than Kei and Brad, and had already prepared his magic, imdiately casting a Sleep Spell.

The giant lizard clearly exhibited awakened Dragon Lizard bloodline traits, capable of easily knocking back Brad, who had consud a Strength Potion, in a power struggle. Its combat prowess likely reached peak knight level — Acid Splash would hardly harm it, but rather provoke its ferocity.

Therefore, Sunan decisively chose the Sleep Spell.

The charging giant lizard abruptly shook its head, wobbling in place as if drunk.

"Indeed, the exotic bloodline can even resist a Sleep Spell,"

Sunan said with a smirk, without hesitation, he pulled out the Spell Scroll for Monster Summoning Skill of level one and activated it instantly.

In a flash, a six-point star formation appeared on the ground several ters away, shining brightly.

Within the flickering lights, a creature barely a ter tall, surrounded by intense flas, erged, with its humanoid figure faintly discernible, laughing with a clear, child-like voice.

"A Fire Child, that’s good luck."

Sunan’s lips curled into a smile.

The Monster Summoning Skill, as implied, summons otherworldly creatures to assist the caster in battle.

The summoned otherworldly creature’s strength depends on the spell’s level, the caster’s spiritual power, and luck.

The level one Monster Summoning Skill can summon otherworldly creatures whose strength ranges from middle knight to junior grand knight.

And the Fire Child, coming from the Fire Elental Plane, has combat power approximately equivalent to a peak knight.

Though he didn’t manage to summon an otherworldly creature at the upper limit of a junior grand knight level, a peak knight level otherworldly creature is already satisfactory.

Under Sunan’s command, the Fire Child cheered, sprinting towards the dazed giant lizard and wrapped its arms around it.

In that instant, the scales where the Fire Child touched softened, shrank, and then turned into charcoal.

The scorching flas ignited, sizzling the flesh beneath.

The intense pain snapped the giant lizard out of the residual effect of the Sleep Spell, eliciting a deafening, agonizing scream.

It swiftly turned its massive body, rolling on the ground to extinguish the flas while shaking off the Fire Child, then opened its tooth-filled maw to bite at the Fire Child ferociously.

Unfortunately, physical attacks had minimal effect on the Fire Child, being an elental creature; its teeth passed straight through the Fire Child’s body, causing little damage, but the flas burned its own mouth, making it howl in pain repeatedly.

The Fire Child giggled and extended its arms to embrace again.

Burning and Fla Spirit Qi!

These are the two abilities possessed by the Fire Child.

The forr enables the Fire Child to inflict intense fla damage upon any creature it touches, even lting tal into slag.

The latter allows the Fire Child to constantly emit intense heat rays, causing all creatures within a ten-ter radius to endure ongoing second-degree burn injuries.

In simple terms, the Fire Child is a walking heat source.

Unless one possesses magical items to isolate against high heat, proximity ans enduring relentless fiery burns.

The giant lizard clearly lacked ans to counter the Fire Child.

Its scales could not withstand the searing flas.

Under the Fire Child’s pursuit, the giant lizard could only flee in distress, lacking any semblance of its initial majestic and fierce deanor.

Having just caught his breath, Brad struggled up from the ground, looking up to witness the scene, his eyes widening in astonishnt.

What monster is this?

It actually manages to suppress that terrifying giant lizard!

Not far away, Kei breathed a sigh of relief, secretly marveling.

As expected of Sunan, his thods are endless.

The Black-scaled Lizardn targeting him for a sneak attack was undoubtedly the worst decision.

"Hehe..."

The joyful laughter intertwined with the anguished screams reverberated in the sky above the battlefield.

Despite desperately evading direct contact with the Fire Child, the accompanying Fla Spirit Qi tornted the giant lizard.

In a short ti, the giant lizard was devoid of intact scales, covered with appalling burns.

After extinguishing the flas on its body once again, the giant lizard finally couldn’t withstand it anymore, rushing to a spot not far from Sunan, lying on the ground, repeatedly shaking its head, its amber-colored vertical pupils showing a human-like plea, resembling a motion of begging for rcy.

"Quite perceptive."

Sunan clicked his tongue in wonder.

Encountering such a rare exotic variant, he didn’t wish to kill it outright, thus halting the Fire Child’s pursuit and casually casting another Sleep Spell.

The heavily injured giant lizard couldn’t resist the Sleep Spell’s effect anymore, its eyelids fluttering, the next second it fell into a deep slumber.

Out of caution, Sunan did not stop there; he patted the nearby Black Rock Leopard, signaling it to suppress the giant lizard, then placed his hand on its body, releasing a Fatigue Touch, draining the giant lizard’s energy, ensuring the beast lost all combat ability.

Having done all this, he finally felt assured enough to divert his attention from the giant lizard to the battlefield.

At that mont, all surviving Black-scaled Lizardn felt a chill racing up their spines.

In their horrified gaze, the fearso fla creature jubilantly charged towards them.
