"A very unfamiliar face, doesn’t look like a Level 3 Wizard Apprentice from the Southeast Domain." Rose whispered.
"It’s a Wizard Apprentice from the Northwest Domain." The Scepter suddenly said.
Seeing everyone’s eyes looking over in surprise, he explained in a low voice:
"The Imperial Family of the Cangjin Empire has collected information on the Wizards of the Northwest Domain, and I specifically reviewed it."
Everyone suddenly understood.
It’s not surprising that the Cangjin Empire, as the overlord of the Southeast Domain, collected information on the Wizards of the Northwest Domain.
This overlord empire clearly harbors ambitions toward the Northwest Domain.
But now, it no longer has the luxury of that ambition.
The Scepter continued: "The leader, wearing a green robe, is called ijisen. He is the chairman of the Truth Council in the Northwest Domain, very powerful, and his reputation is not inferior to Saulo."
"Truth Council?" Rose sneered, "Such a big claim."
Sunan also smiled secretly.
Daring to use "truth" as the na of an organization, this so-called Truth Council seems to have great ambition.
The Scepter shrugged, saying, "Their claim is indeed big, but they have the qualifications for it."
"The Truth Council has thirteen Level 3 Wizard Apprentices, besides ijisen, they have many strong mbers."
"For example, that guy with skin like bark, he’s called Milkhan, supposedly half-transford into an Earth Elent. In forest-like environnts, almost no Wizard Apprentice of the sa level can match him."
Earth Elent transformation?
Sunan raised his eyebrows.
This is a very rare type.
In terms of attack, the Earth Elent can’t match the Fire Elent and Thunder Elent; in terms of defense, it can’t match the Earth Elent; in terms of transformation, it can’t match the Water Elent.
But in places with many plants, a Wizard transford into an Earth Elent can exert two hundred percent of their power!
This is a type that heavily relies on the environnt for transformation.
"And that one with scales on his face, called Mayvic, has fused with the bloodline of a shark-type Exotic Beast, and his combat power is incredibly strong."
"The small and weak-looking Wizard Apprentice is called Fabio. Like the Undead, he specializes in the Undead Series, excelling in manipulating souls, but his strength is much greater than the Undead."
It can be seen that the Cangjin Empire’s intelligence gathering is very thorough, and the Scepter ticulously introduced the dozen or so Wizards one by one.
Except for three or four who were ambiguously ntioned, he could basically na the others and describe their general abilities.
Listening to the Scepter’s account, Rose and the Traveler’s expressions gradually beca solemn, and they looked at the group of Wizard Apprentices from the Northwest Domain with increasing apprehension.
This Wizard Organization’s overall strength is no less than the Eternal Life Association!
"Are these guys here for the Star Tower as well?" Rose frowned.
However, the answer to this question was already evident.
This place is tens of thousands of kiloters from the Northwest Domain. No matter how big the commotion when the Star Tower appeared, it couldn’t have reached there so quickly.
The fact that mbers of the Truth Council appeared here so swiftly must an they received information in advance and entered the Southeast Domain long ago.
What Rose couldn’t figure out, though, was how they knew for sure the Star Tower would appear in the Southeast Domain?
Sunan’s expression shifted subtly, lost in thought.
His gaze swept over the people from the Truth Council, finally landing on a figure whose appearance was obscured by a robe and a hat brim.
At this ti, the people from the Truth Council also stopped not far from the Star Tower.
It seed they noticed the gazes of Sunan and the others; ijisen turned his head to look over, scrutinizing them a few tis before whispering sothing to the obscured figure. When he turned back to look at Sunan and the others, there was already an intrigued gleam in his eyes.
Soon after, the heavily obscured person lifted their hat brim, revealing a sowhat pale face.
"Evans!"
Seeing the face clearly, the Traveler and Rose simultaneously showed shocked expressions.
They naturally recognized this Legendary Knight, almost the "culprit" responsible for the Eternal Life Association’s war with the Forest Cabin.
But why would Evans be involved with the Truth Council?
Sunan’s eyes flashed with a sense of inevitability.
He had heard from the Hunter before that Evans fled to the Northwest Domain to avoid the Eternal Life Association. Now it seems Evans is the one who provided the Truth Council with information about the Star Tower.
It seems Evans didn’t tell him the full truth back then.
The other party must have so ans to identify the approximate location of the Star Tower’s appearance in advance.
But none of this concerned Sunan as much as the significance behind Evans’s appearance here.
"Night Owl and Hunter." Sunan ntioned in a low voice.
The other three started slightly, then quickly reacted, their expressions darkening.
Since the Truth Council mbers appeared here, they must all have Star Tower Keys.
Where did they get those keys from?
Did Evans give them all?
Or did so co from Night Owl and Hunter?
After all, Evans was one of the few insiders about the Forest Cabin having a Star Tower Key.
If that’s the case, then Night Owl and Hunter are likely dood!
Although their relationship with Night Owl and Hunter wasn’t necessarily close, they were mbers of the sa organization. Learning that the two might already have died at the hands of the Truth Council, the Scepter and the other three were sowhat heavy-hearted and dissatisfied.
Nevertheless, they sensibly restrained their emotions and didn’t act impulsively.
With the opening of the Star Tower imminent, now was the ti to recuperate, not to take action.
Any accounts to settle could wait until after they exited the Star Tower.
At the sa ti, mbers of the Truth Council were sizing up Sunan and the others.
"Is that the Sunan who killed Saulo? He doesn’t look too impressive."
Mayvic licked his lips, his gaze slithering over Sunan like a snake, clearly eager to try sothing.
The surrounding companions didn’t mind; Mayvic’s bloodline heritage made him have a very strong desire to kill, and he loved fighting strong opponents.
This approach was entirely different from cautious Wizard ideology, and only Mayvic’s own strength kept him from becoming a pile of bones.
"Judging the power of a Wizard Apprentice by their appearance is a foolish thing," Mikael said impassively.
Ignoring Mayvic’s glaring eyes, he turned his head to ijisen.
"Chairman, with the Eternal Life Association vanquished and heavy casualties in the Forest Cabin, the number of Level 3 Wizard Apprentices in the Southeast Domain has plumted, making now a perfect ti to attack the Southeast Domain while it’s vulnerable."
Fabio’s eyes brightened, agreeing wholeheartedly: "That’s true."
ijisen’s eyes flickered subtly, clearly tempted.
The wizard apprentice forces of the Southeast and Northwest Domains had always been evenly matched and had lived in peaceful coexistence in recent years.
However, after the series of upheavals in the Southeast Domain, many Level 3 Wizard Apprentices had died, significantly weakening their forces. Launching an attack now greatly increases the chance of overthrowing the Southeast Domain’s forces.
There might even be a chance to seize the vast territories of the Southeast Domain!
As this thought raced through his mind, ijisen had already made his calculations and smiled faintly: "No rush, the most important thing right now is the Star Tower. We can discuss this further after we co out of it."
The others understood the implication.
Mayvic even began to maliciously size up the surrounding Wizard Apprentices.
Because of the Star Tower, quite a number of Wizard Apprentices had already gathered nearby.
After exiting the Star Tower, ambushing a few waves of them in transit could weaken the strength of the Southeast Domain’s Wizard Apprentices ahead of ti.
Ti flowed by gradually.
More and more people gathered around the Star Tower.
So people tentatively approached the Star Tower from ti to ti.
But the seemingly very real tower in the sky didn’t actually exist in this world—a re shadow appeared before everyone, leaving the explorers disappointed.
In the end, no one else dared to move, and everyone waited quietly.
With the sunset and sunrise, at noon on the second day after Sunan and the others arrived, the Star Tower in the sky finally showed signs of activity.
Accompanied by a deep humming sound, the Star Tower slowly descended from the sky, landing with a thud, sending clouds of dust rolling.
Simultaneously, Sunan felt the talisman stone in his palm suddenly heat up.
He instantly understood.
The Star Tower had opened!
