"After advancing to Level 2 Wizard, the limitations of the Starlight Continent’s environnt beco even more apparent, don’t they?"
Steadying herself, Lize brought up another topic.
"Indeed." Sunan sighed slightly.
Upon advancing to Level 2 Wizard, Sunan realized that the scarcity of energy impacted the refinent of spirit more severely than he had imagined.
Initially, he thought he could at least surpass Level 2 Crystallization before the planar barriers were completely restored.
But now it seems that unless the number of wizards in the Star Alliance drastically increases and there are more laborers collecting elental crystal dusts, it would be difficult.
Apart from this, there’s the issue of environntal adaptability.
Even now, while inside the Wizard Tower, he felt a slight discomfort.
Clearly, as his essence evolved, the requirents of his soul and body for energy particle concentration beca higher.
Continuing to advance like this, when he becos a True Spirit Wizard, even if the Starlight Continent’s energy particle concentration returns to normal, he will probably find it hard to adapt.
Perhaps this is why True Spirit Wizards are keen to build Floating Cities and Half-Planes.
They need an environnt with a higher energy particle concentration!
After chatting for a while, Sunan brought up the main matter.
"Do you have any alchemical body knowledge?"
"Are you planning to engrave alchemical markings?"
Lize looked at Sunan with surprise and then nodded knowingly.
"Now that you’re a Level 2 Wizard, your spiritual power surely ets the standards for an alchemical body; strengthening your physique shouldn’t be difficult, so you could attempt to transform into an alchemical body."
"However, the problem is that the materials needed to transform into an alchemical body are mostly precious, which might be hard to gather on the Starlight Continent now."
Sunan waved his hand: "It’s okay. Give the technique knowledge; I’ll handle the materials myself."
If the transformation into an alchemical body can also be synthesized with a magic cube, then materials are not an issue.
At worst, I’ll make a weak low-end counterfeit first, like those engraving gemstones and talent crystal models, before fusing them into a high-end version with the original effects.
If synthesis isn’t possible, then research on substitutes would be necessary.
Seeing Sunan’s resolve, Lize didn’t elaborate further.
Her past experiences taught her not to doubt any of Sunan’s words.
Problems that seed unsolvable to her often beca easy fixes in Sunan’s hands.
Questioning now could very likely lead to embarrassnt later.
"There’s plenty of knowledge about alchemical bodies and markings; once I transcribe it, I’ll pass it to you."
At this point, Lize suddenly rembered sothing.
"Almost forgot to ntion, the royal family has sent word that they’d like you to et with His Majesty Kei once you’re out."
Upon hearing this, Sunan was taken aback, frowning.
If Kei wanted to see him, he could either co directly or send a simple ssage. Why use the royal na for summons?
He turned to Lize, who understood his concerns and responded somberly: "Two months ago, His Majesty Kei fell seriously ill and has been bedridden ever since."
...
Ti is the most ruthless and feared weapon.
Even powerful True Spirit Wizards can’t resist its passage and will ultimately face the end of life.
Let alone a minor bloodline knight.
Kei, as a bloodline knight infused with the Sub-dragon Species bloodline, inherited so of the Dragons’ long-lived traits.
Being the ruler of the empire, he has consud nurous life-extending treasures, including the extrely precious Dawn Potion.
Thus, his lifespan exceeded that of many Level 3 Wizard Apprentices.
Yet even so, upon reaching the age of 200, the emperor’s health inevitably declined.
In the following years, Kei’s health deteriorated, plagued with illness.
Two months ago, he suffered a sudden major illness, leaving him bedridden.
As a result, the entire Fantasy Empire was in a state of unease.
Thankfully, the Star Alliance exerted its pressure, and with the Emperor approved to succeed the position, the first prince Abbott took over governance responsibilities, avoiding unspeakable incidents.
Upon learning Sunan had entered the palace, all the perceived weighty royal mbers, including Prince Abbott and Haylin, gathered in the emperor’s chamber, waiting.
Aside from key royal figures like Prince Abbott being inside the chamber, others waited in the courtyard.
anwhile, these hopefuls eagerly anticipated the chance to get acquainted with the paramount figure who’s more esteed than the emperor, manipulating the highest power on Starlight Continent from the shadows, when suddenly, he appeared silently in the chamber.
As a Level 2 Wizard Apprentice, Haylin was the first to sense an abnormality, turning to find a silhouette beside him.
Initially startled, he reflexively prepared to react, but upon seeing the person’s face, he quickly halted his actions and respectfully bowed.
"Great Uncle!"
Others hearing the commotion turned around, seeing Sunan, showed delight, and moved forward to greet him.
Sunan, with an indifferent expression, gestured to silence them, stepping forward and with a flicker, reached the bedside.
On the wide and luxurious bed, Kei lay quietly with closed eyes, his face visibly sickly.
Compared to their last eting, Kei appeared older and more haggard.
In fact, over the years, Sunan and Kei t less frequently.
Both are rulers entangled with responsibilities.
