Because of Sunan’s intervention, the war ended in a way nobody expected.

In this battle, the enemy suffered over 1,300 casualties, and there are 600 to 700 prisoners.

More of them fled in panic and disappeared.

The number of soldiers killed from Black Stone City was relatively low, less than 200.

However, more than 20 Black Rock Leopards were destroyed.

When tallying the results afterwards, Brad’s face twitched in pain.

But most people were thrilled.

After all, being able to defeat the rebels at such a cost was already worthwhile.

After winning the battle, the entire Black Stone City was filled with a joyous atmosphere.

That night, Kei hosted a celebration feast in the castle’s banquet hall.

The knights gathered together, drinking and celebrating.

So injured knights, even with bandages, joined others for a drinking contest.

After a round of drinks with the leaders in the front hall, Kei went to the council hall at the back to find Sunan resting, only to discover the latter was petting a cat.

"When did you start keeping a cat?"

Kei stared in surprise at the white cat lying on Sunan’s lap.

"This is Amy, my friend." Sunan smiled slightly, and then introduced to Amy, "This is my brother Kei."

Seeing Sunan seriously introducing himself to a cat, Kei found it amusing, but was stunned in the next second.

"ow, hello."

The cat actually raised a paw and greeted him!

A talking cat?

Kei’s mouth slightly opened.

Despite having seen many things beyond his understanding from Sunan, this mont still felt like a shock to his worldview.

This world was even more bizarre than he imagined.

"...Hello."

Kei greeted Amy with a peculiar expression.

Then he sat down opposite Sunan, sipped his wine to organize his thoughts, and then slowly spoke.

"I think now is a good ti to take back the Flashing Territory."

Sunan seed to have anticipated what Kei would say; he wasn’t surprised and nodded with a smile.

"When do you plan to send troops?"

"In three days." Kei said solemnly, "We can’t give Owen ti to regroup his fleeing soldiers, or it will be even harder to take Flash City!"

"Now with the shift between offense and defense, even if we don’t count the fleeing soldiers, it won’t be easy to take Flash City with our current forces, right?"

"Indeed."

Kei glanced at Sunan, revealing a aningful smile.

"But that’s with you around, isn’t it?"

Sunan smiled back, nodded, and said nothing.

He understood Kei’s point.

Indeed, he had more than ten thods to break open Flash City’s gates.

Once the siege beca street fighting, Black Stone City’s advantage would be much greater.

With the Elite Cavalry Legion almost wiped out and the army severely crippled, if Flash City’s high walls were lost, Owen basically wouldn’t have the resources to contend with Black Stone City.

"How is the potion sales progressing?"

Sunan suddenly rembered that before going to Stone Bell City, he had left a batch of potions for Kei to deliver to the Fire Fox Chamber of Comrce for trial sales. He wasn’t sure how they were received.

Upon ntioning this, a delightful smile appeared on Kei’s face.

"The reception was very good. The potions were so popular that they sold out in less than three days."

"Mu Zhuo also brought news that many lords from the Thorn Flower Duchy want to place another order for potions with us. Currently, I have received intention orders for more than 500 bottles."

"Mu Zhuo’s idea is to see what you think, and if you plan to take the orders, he can collect part of the deposit from those lords in advance."

"Of course, we’ll take them." Sunan said without hesitation.

Once he reclaid the Flashing Territory, he planned to build a base to open up his Magic Plant Garden, as well as a Magic Item Manufacturing Room, Potion Room, large laboratory, and Puppet Factory, among other facilities.

The needed gold coins would be at least twenty to thirty thousand!

Such a large expenditure couldn’t possibly all co from the territory; he certainly needed to find ways to earn money for subsidies.

With the potion sales channel, the economic pressure suddenly eased a lot.

"The Fire Fox Chamber of Comrce also sent a lot of things, which I’ve had delivered to your yard’s warehouse. You can take a look when you have ti."

"Got it."

Sunan got up and left the council hall.

Back in the courtyard, Amy jumped out of Sunan’s arms and disappeared, going to play with Hidden Dragon.

Sunan headed to the warehouse and soon found the boxes piled in the corner.

Two of the boxes were filled with books.

These books had obviously been carefully wiped clean, but the covers and pages showed the weathered sense of ti.

Sunan picked them up one by one and flipped through them.

As expected, over ninety percent of the books were about knowledge, and many overlapped with ones he already had.

There were only four books on magic models.

One was Tier Zero Magic [Communication Skill].

One was Tier Two Magic [Ma Youfu’s Strong Acid Arrow].

Among the items left by Amy’s master was also a Tier Two magic model book [Shattering Sound Wave].

These two magic spells were practical attack-type spells among Tier Two Magic.

And the remaining two books offered Sunan a surprise.

Both were Tier One magic model books, naly [Silent Illusion] and [Tier One Monster Summoning Skill].

The forr could be said to be a must-learn spell for wizards.

The effect was to instantly create an illusion of a single object or creature within a certain range, which could move freely to confuse and mislead.

Mastering this spell would greatly enhance combat flexibility.

Although [Tier One Monster Summoning Skill] was sowhat unpredictable, if luck was good, it could also play a considerable role at tis.

Moreover, the high unpredictability could be compensated by frequency, as long as prepared in advance.

Overall, both spells were practical.

"Counting these two, I now have nine Tier One magic spells not yet mastered."

"Fully mastering them would take at least about a year."

Sunan sighed to himself.

That said, he wished for as much magic as possible.

For a wizard, the more magic spells one masters, the better one can handle unexpected situations.

Aside from magic spells, among the books on knowledge, Sunan also found a few that interested him.

One was [Puppets and Golems].

Golems could be considered a branch of puppets, and since the birth of wizards, they have been one of the most deeply studied and technically totalizing branches.

Initially, golems were created by wizards as simple intelligent servants and assistants.

Until later, so wizards tried adding rune secret techniques to golems, granting them specialized skills, making them more ’intelligent’ and ’powerful,’ then their combat capabilities were significantly enhanced, and began to be widely used on the battlefield, even leading to the famous Golem Legion.

With more wizards involving themselves in golems’ research and developnt, the types of golems gradually increased, and their power greatly enhanced.
