"Hurry up, we must deliver the goods to the destination before nightfall."

In Flash City, a transportation convoy was slowly moving along the cobblestone road, the sound of the wheels turning was continuous.

The residents along the way naturally moved aside, as the convoy was accompanied by a team of fully ard soldiers.

The leading n were clad in full armor, clearly indicating they were Knights.

"Indeed, Flash City is much better. Black Stone City is ultimately a bit remote."

Looking at the scenery on both sides of the street, Jordon grinned and sighed.

The architectural style of Flash City leans towards Roman, giving a sense of grandeur and solemnity.

The roads are smooth cobblestone, with flowers and trees planted on both sides. The ground is clean and tidy, and there is a complete sewer system. Even the houses are more exquisite and orderly than those in Black Stone City.

Compared to Flash City, Black Stone City suddenly feels like the countryside.

"When we followed Kei to Black Stone City, who would have thought we could return to Flashing Territory so quickly," a knight sighed.

The other n also nodded with a sense of nostalgia.

"Who would have guessed, I thought I was going to spend my whole life in Black Stone City."

"Yeah, even now I sotis wonder if I’m dreaming."

"All of this is thanks to the lord and Sir Sunan... But speaking of which, why did Sir Sunan move outside the city, isn’t it...?"

The speaking knight hadn’t finished before Jordon kicked him.

"Don’t talk nonsense, watch out or I’ll teach you a lesson!"

"The Baron and his brother have a great relationship, and besides, Sir Sunan clearly has no interest in the title. He’s going to be a Wizard in the future!"

"Then why doesn’t Sir Sunan stay in the city? The outskirts are so desolate, how could it be more comfortable than the inner castle?" asked a puzzled knight.

Jordon shrugged and said, "I heard Sir Sunan wanted to build a base outside the city. He plans to construct a Magic Plant Garden and Puppet Factory, which requires a large area of land, so he chose to be outside the city. This ti we’re transporting materials for the base construction."

The others seed to understand partially, and Jordon waved them off impatiently.

"Anyway, we just need to do as Sir Sunan says."

The others agreed.

Such a powerful being as Sir Sunan, his plans are not for them to speculate on casually. Just follow his commands.

The convoy traveled through the city, then headed north for another four or five kiloters, until they finally reached a leveled area of land.

Many workers were busily engaged in labor, with the clear sound of picks striking rock echoing non-stop.

Jordon quickly found Sunan, who was scouting around on a hillside, seemingly searching for sothing.

"Sir Sunan, the lord asked to deliver these things."

Sunan nodded and waved over an overseer to handle the delivery, then took out a list and handed it to Jordon.

"This is the list of items needed for the next batch, please give it to my brother."

"Yes, sir."

Jordon solemnly accepted, sneaking a glance at the list.

Crystals, brass, silver, clay... the first few were understandable, but what was the clay for?

Making ceramics?

Jordon wondered silently but wisely refrained from asking further, took the list, and bid farewell to Sunan.

After he left, Sunan continued his exploration of the area.

After securing Flash City, he imdiately began his farming plan according to his strategy, and without hesitation, sought out Kei. Together they marked out a plot of land on the plains not far from the city to build his base.

A qualified Wizard must have his own territory to practice and study in peace, as well as develop.

That’s why many wizards build their own Wizard Towers.

So powerful True Spirit Wizards even go to great lengths to build Floating Cities.

Unfortunately, neither a Floating City nor a Wizard Tower is within Sunan’s reach at the mont.

He can only settle for a regular base for now.

A complete base must include a ditation Zone, a Spell Training Zone, an Experint Zone, a Residential Zone, a Pharmacy Zone, a Magic Plant Garden, a Magic Items Workshop, a Puppet Factory, a Warehouse, and other facilities.

Once built, the base would cover an area larger than a typical village.

The cost in Gold Coins is calculated in tens of thousands.

Fortunately, Sunan had recently made a batch of potions in his spare ti and sold them through the Foxfire rchant Guild.

The deposit received is just enough for the initial construction of the base.

He is currently scouting the positions of the earth nodes.

The underground of any world has a network of primal magic.

These networks are called earth nodes, or elental branches, magic nodes, and so on.

The nas are just labels.

Essentially, earth nodes are intersections of natural energy. If a large array is established at an earth node to set up magic supply channels, it can provide stable magic energy transmission, which greatly saves energy.

Otherwise, solely relying on magic stones to sustain the operation of facilities like the Magic Plant Garden, the Magic Items Workshop, and the Puppet Factory would consu more than the entire inco of Flashing Territory could support.

The only problem is that in today’s Starlight Continent, elents are scarce, and the elental magic power that earth nodes can provide is greatly reduced.

Solely relying on earth nodes probably only supports the base’s daily operation and maintenance. If one wishes to use devices like magic energy crystal forge, additional magic stones are necessary as supplentary energy.

In view of this, before the base is completed, a batch of magic stones must be reserved.

Having determined the earth node, Sunan let out a long breath, turning to look at the busy crowd below.

"Relying solely on manual labor to build the base is still a bit inefficient; it’d be best to create a batch of clay golems to serve as manpower."

Clay golems have nearly a ton of strength and are a highly efficient workforce.

In many large projects, a single clay golem can perform work equivalent to hundreds of humans.

The key is that clay golems don’t need rest or food; as long as there’s sufficient energy supply and regular maintenance, they can be used indefinitely.

Because of this, many wizards like to use clay golems as laborers or servants.

"Clay golems require simple materials, consu little energy, and are very easy to maintain, making them the best choice for laboring forces."

"With just ten clay golems, the efficiency of base construction can be multiplied several tis, saving a massive amount of human labor costs."

"Furthermore, the Magic Plant Garden and Magic Items Workshop require dedicated people for maintenance, and they need to not only be literate but also have a basic understanding of Magic Botany or Enchantnt, all of which need to be trained from scratch."

Practicing, learning spells, constructing the base, producing potions, crafting golems, training personnel...

Sunan suddenly realized he had a lot to do.

"I’m going to be quite busy next."
