It’s already five in the afternoon.
The group wandered from the second floor to the fifth floor, which is the dining floor.
They had Western food, in French, not sure what it ant, quite expensive, and the three of them spent almost a thousand.
Xu Lin paid for it.
Xu Lin took advantage of Xia Xiyao today, so he treated them to dinner as a way to continue apologizing.
It took them just over an hour to finish eating.
Xu Lin doesn’t look at his phone while eating.
After they were full and it was ti to check out, he found a ssage from Yu Jianhua sent forty minutes ago.
He clicked in to take a look.
"Kid, your aunt said Yanyan is in the hospital for nstruation pain, do you know?"
"I didn’t know."
Xu Lin replied, "I’ll ask her later."
As soon as Xu Lin settled the bill, Yu Jianhua’s phone call ca. Xu Lin took a few steps and answered the phone.
"How co you didn’t know?"
Yu Jianhua questioned.
"Uncle, how would I know? nstruation stuff is considered very private."
"Damn it, go check on her, Yanyan told her mom she’s in the hospital!"
Even the usually gentle and refined Yu Jianhua swore; he dotes on his precious daughter a lot.
You see, Yu Xinyan talks about nstruation pain with her mom, but she’s not necessarily going to tell you, a big guy, so how would I know?
But Xu Lin wouldn’t say such things.
"I’ll head over right now. By the way, which hospital is it?"
"Jiangdu University Affiliated Hospital!"
"Okay, I’m heading there now."
Xu Lin hung up the phone.
"Xu Lin, whose phone call was that?"
Rong Xiyi asked curiously.
Xu Lin simply opened his contact list, showing the most recent call was from soone bookmarked as "Uncle."
"It was my uncle’s call!"

"Are you guys still going to shop around? I’ll take you back; I have sothing to do."
"Yaoyao, are we still shopping around?"
Xia Xiyao shook her head.
"Yaoyao, are you staying at my place again tonight?"
"Just one more night." Xia Xiyao looked at Xu Lin.
"Xu Lin, you take us back!"
"Alright."
Today, Xu Lin was riding a two-wheeled electric bike, the wind was blowing strongly.
But he still carried two girls in the back.
"Do you feel cold?"
Rong Xiyi said, "A little."
Xia Xiyao said, "I feel a little too."
"We’ll be ho soon, hang on a bit longer."
Xu Lin, now strong and fit, didn’t feel anything.
Twenty minutes later, Xu Lin arrived at the entrance of the neighborhood, letting the two girls off.
"You guys head back first, I have to get busy."
Xu Lin said goodbye to the two girls and promptly set off for Jiangdu University Affiliated Hospital.

Rong Xiyi apologized again.
"It’s okay, I didn’t mind at all."

On the other side, Xu Lin drove quite fast this ti, and a one-hour journey only took him forty minutes. If it weren’t for traffic lights and vehicle inspections along the way, Xu Lin could have driven even faster.
Arriving at Jiangdu University Affiliated Hospital, Xu Lin parked at the roadside parking spot for electric bikes, then quickly walked into the hospital.
Yu Xinyan’s phone couldn’t be reached, perhaps it was off or sothing.
So Xu Lin could only ask the hospital which ward Yu Xinyan was in.
It was quickly found.
Third floor, ward 306.
Xu Lin soon arrived at ward 306, which had two beds, but only Yu Xinyan was in it.
When Xu Lin ca in, Yu Xinyan was curled up on the bed sleeping, her phone just placed on the table beside her.
"Who are you..."
At this mont, a nurse happened to co in and looked at Xu Lin.
Xu Lin said, "I’m her boyfriend, here to take care of her."
"She had quite severe nstruation pain last night. Why is it that you’re only here now?"
"I was negligent, is she okay now?"
"You’ll have to ask her when she wakes up."
The nurse asked, "Are you going to take care of her here?"
"Yes, I’ll take care of her."
"Then I’ll get back to work."
After that, the nurse left.
Xu Lin sat on the chair beside her, without waking up Yu Xinyan, just letting her sleep quietly there.
About an hour later.
Yu Xinyan finally woke up.
She opened her eyes and happened to see Xu Lin, who was sitting in the chair beside her playing on his phone.
Yu Xinyan thought she was seeing things.
"Xu Lin?"
"Awake?"
"Is it you?"
"Who else would it be if not ?" Xu Lin said with a mix of amusent and frustration.
Yu Xinyan even reached out to pinch Xu Lin’s face, finding that it was real.
Xu Lin complained, "Why didn’t you tell about your nstruation pain? If your dad hadn’t told , I wouldn’t have known."
"I didn’t think it was a big deal, just endure a bit and it’ll pass."
"You’ve even ended up in the hospital, yet you still say endure a bit!"
Yu Xinyan was admitted to the hospital yesterday afternoon; it was Friday, and she hadn’t gone to class during the day due to severe nstruation pain, just resting in the dormitory. When she couldn’t take it anymore, Li Weiyan and the others took Yu Xinyan to the hospital.
Jiangdu University Affiliated Hospital is very close to Jiangdu University, within walking distance.
Yu Xinyan smiled and said, "But I feel much better now, and seeing you makes my world brighten up!"
"If you told yesterday, you would have seen yesterday!"
"I was afraid of troubling you."
"So you troubled your roommates instead?"
Xu Lin asked, "Did you co by yourself or did your roommates bring you over?"
"They brought over yesterday, but they also had things to do and left last night."
"That’s no problem, at least they brought you here."
Roommates can only be considered friends, and it’s already nice of them to take her to the hospital; you can’t expect roommates to always take care of her. Xu Lin didn’t have any issues about this.
"Xu Lin, I want to be discharged. I’m not used to staying in the hospital, it’s so scary at night!"
