Ms. Ren bead when she saw Rong Xiyi, her eyes turning into crescent shapes with affection.

Xu Lin could completely afford it, just a way to show his filial piety to his mom.
"How much can your script sell for?"

Ms. Ren felt relieved that her son was buying her an apartnt.

There were plenty of topics for won to talk about, and Xu Lin leaned in to listen for ten seconds; they were chatting about skincare. Ms. Ren ntioned needing anti-aging products for her age, as she’s no longer young.
Xu Lin didn’t participate in such topics; he played mobile gas in the living room.
They were quite chatty, talking from around nine o’clock till half-past ten, then showered, each taking forty minutes or so.
By eleven o’clock, Xu Lin returned to his room to sleep.
He didn’t close the door, only partially pushed it shut.
Around midnight, Rong Xiyi quietly sneaked in.
This was why Xu Lin didn’t fully close the door.
"Xu Lin, I’m here!"
She whispered as she saw Xu Lin asleep, nudging him awake.
As Xu Lin woke up, Rong Xiyi started taking off her long sleeves.
Xu Lin stopped her, "Let’s go to your room."
"Why?"
"It’s so you won’t need to be carried back to your room later because you’re too tired."
"Hmph!"
At midnight, the two quietly went to Rong Xiyi’s room and locked the door.
At that mont, Rong Xiyi cuddled Xu Lin and demanded a kiss.
"Xu Lin, it’s been days since you’ve touched !"
"Don’t rush!"
"Humph!"
"Xu Lin, stay here tonight; you’ve neglected these past few days."
Rong Xiyi looked pitiful, her tone full of complaint, as Xu Lin had spent the past few days with Ning Yuhuan.
"I’ll stay here tonight."
"Okay."
