The night fell, and the city lights began to glow.
Xu Lin and the others bought two servings of stinky tofu and four grilled sausages from the food street, then found a barbecue stall under a rain canopy to sit down at.
Though these were small stalls, they weren’t the type that were unsanitary or poorly maintained.
For instance, the walkway through the middle was artificial turf, and the overall environnt was quite decent.
In a big city like Jiangdu, unless you’re in a more suburban area, you won’t find hygiene standards too lacking.

"So early?"
In Xu Lin’s current class, the youngest are seventeen, but none are sixteen.
"I skipped a grade. Actually, I could have gone to university at fourteen, but my family thought I was too young, so they didn’t let skip anymore, going to university at sixteen."
Chi Linyue continued: "Then I went straight through my PhD program after graduation, so I was twenty when I started my doctorate and graduated at twenty-three."
"The vast majority only undergraduate at twenty-three."
Xu Lin sipped his drink, considering that Chi Linyue indeed has a high IQ,
"Starting school too early isn’t all good, as there aren’t many peers around."
The two talked like this for an hour, finally full and satisfied.
The light drizzle ant there wasn’t much to do outside.
Xu Lin and the group headed straight back ho.
At the door of Chi Linyue’s house, Xu Lin changed his shoes and followed her inside.
As usual, Chi Linyue went to her room to change her clothes as soon as she got ho.
Shortly after, she ca out in her ho clothes.

"What are you doing?"
Chi Linyue was tying her hair in a low ponytail and saw Xu Lin looking at her.
"Just admiring a beauty!"

"Eating from your own bowl while eyeing the pot, and even thinking about what’s outside the pot."
Xu Lin calmly remarked, "That’s human nature."
Chi Linyue laughed, "Wife isn’t as good as a concubine, concubine isn’t as good as a mistress, mistress isn’t as good as one you can’t have?"
"You could say that." Xu Lin acknowledged.
Chi Linyue: "Fickle in love!"
Xu Lin: "Not really, for there’s no such thing as new or old; they’re all equally important."
"Hmph! You can’t get ivory from a dog’s mouth!"
Chi Linyue finished tying her low ponytail.
This low ponytail made Chi Linyue look even more gentle.
A mature woman at twenty-five or six, her allure is particularly strong, especially for young n at eighteen or nineteen.
Chi Linyue asked, "Do you need to use the computer tonight?"
"Yes, is your laptop here?"
"No, it’s still at the office."
"Can I go to your room then?"
"Just behave yourself!"

As always, Chi Linyue’s room was clean and fragrant.

After looking at the photos for a while, Chi Linyue started chatting with her sister-in-law.
Sister-in-law: "If you like kids so much, why not find soone and have one yourself? Smirk.jpg"
Chi Linyue: "No, no rush."
Sister-in-law: "You’re already twenty-five or six, not getting any younger. A woman’s pri childbearing age is before twenty-eight."
Sister-in-law: "But I’m not saying this to rush you into marriage, just giving my opinion. I hope you et soone you really love, and that they truly love you too, for mutual love makes a happy family."
Chi Linyue: "Got it."
The two sister-in-laws chatted for a long ti.
At this mont, Chi Linyue turned over and looked at Xu Lin, only to see him chatting on WeChat with soone.
Chi Linyue had excellent eyesight and could easily see the tiny words on the computer screen at a glance.
She noticed Xu Lin was discussing script matters with soone nad "Ranzhi."
Chi Linyue rembered that Xu Lin had recently written a script that was quite popular, and she was curious if it could be adapted into a TV series. Although she didn’t know much about scripts, she just had a feeling Xu Lin’s script was very well written.
Judging it as a book, could Chi Linyue not tell if it’s good or bad?
Obviously, she could.
"How’s your script going?"
Chi Linyue asked, "Anyone interested in buying it?"
"No rush, I’ll see if there are investors interested in funding it these days."
"Oh oh, what do you think?"
"I feel it’s not a big problem."
Xu Lin said, "I’m quite confident in my work; the only issue is that the script is a bit bold."
He didn’t ntion the aspects concerning human nature and political intrigue.
There’s a Second Prince in Xu Lin’s script, characterized as power-hungry and insanely wild. In simple terms, a madman. So to make this characterization more complete, Xu Lin added an incest subplot, uncertain if it could be adapted.
But Xu Lin had seen "All the City is Covered with Golden Armor" and felt it should be fine.
Although this is just one part of the plot, overall, Xu Lin’s script is quite bold. It depends on whether investors are willing to take the risk.
Chi Linyue: "I also think the script’s a bit bold; did you reference the Southern and Northern Dynasties for so of the plot?"
