Xu Lin pulled out two hundred, as you might expect.
So, after getting the money, a few kids imdiately ran off, saying they wanted to go to town to buy sothing tasty.

Xu Lin waved at Rong Xiyi, and she quickly jogged over.
"Xu Lin, did you buy the kite?"

Xu Lin handed her the kite and asked, "Have you played with a kite before?"
Classmate Rong shook her head and asked back, "Xu Lin, have you played with one?"
"I played with one when I was a kid."
"Then you teach how to play!"
"You just throw the kite up in the air and run holding the string; it’s really easy."
Xu Lin taught her, and Rong Xiyi quickly got the hang of it, running around the fields, and the kite soared high, playing joyfully.
"Xu Lin, help take photos!"

"Okay."

The elderly here often gathered at the root of a tree or so shady spot to play chess together.

But now Xu Lin was different; he had a highly capable learning ability, so playing chess was naturally not a problem for him. After a short while, Grandpa couldn’t play against Xu Lin anymore and was easily checkmated by him.

Grandpa was quite astonished.

When the gathering ended, Ms. Ren and the others started to clean up the tables.
Grandpa sat on a rocking chair in the courtyard, gazing at the sky. On the fifth day of the lunar new year, there were no brilliant stars or a bright full moon; there were only a few stars, and the moon was less than half full.
"Grandpa, are you looking at the stars?"
Rong Xiyi ca over, curiously asking.
"Grandpa is in the sky; yes, the stars and the moon are watching too."
