Now reading: Chapter 286 - 183: "Sun Entertainment City from System: My Doomsday Train, a Sci-fi novel by Medieval Rabbit.

On the other side.

Chen Mang had already led Biaozi and the others to successfully arrive at the first "Entertainnt City," which occupied an enormous area. At first glance, it looked like a castle, with spotlight beams from surrounding skyscraper rooftops shining on its surface.

The castle, at a glance, was filled with an air of debauchery and indulgence.

A large artificial river encircled the outside of the castle.

The decor was not that of a dieval castle; it was more futuristic, with huge billboards displaying photos of naked young won, and nurous staff mbers, all robots, strolling outside the castle, all of whom were female.

All had excellent looks, wore very little clothing, and moved in a rather provocative manner.

"Let’s go in and have a look."

There was no security.

Chen Mang twisted the throttle and drove towards the entertainnt city. Before they even entered the main entrance, they saw many slot machines scattered around the entrance.

"Does anyone know how to play?"

"No."

Chen Mang didn’t linger and drove the motorcycle straight through the main entrance. He didn’t know how to play either... He’d never touched a slot machine, only roughly knowing the simple rule that pulling the lever and matching three of the sa images ant a win.

This entertainnt city had six floors.

The first floor was filled with hundreds of gambling tables upon entering, with each table having a beautiful female croupier in a red bikini beside it. Nearly half of the croupiers turned their heads with smiles towards them.

"Damn it..."

Biaozi instinctively took a step back, looking at the scene in front of him, feeling a bit eerie, "Sexy? Why do I find it sowhat horrifying?"

"If it weren’t for this Adventure Map marking it as an entertainnt map."

"I would have thought it was a map mixed with eerie elents."

"And where are these guests coming from?"

As soon as they stepped into the hall.

This many croupiers turning their heads with smiles at them did indeed have a hint of eeriness. Luckily, it was dayti, and the hall was bright enough; if it had been night with flickering lights and so creepy music playing,

they wouldn’t have hesitated to turn around and run.

Hundreds of gambling tables.

More than half were empty, with the remaining tables crowded with nurous guests, all with red eyes and high emotions, continuously slamming chips on the tables, their loud shouts filling the space.

"I refuse to believe it; can it really be small seven tis in a row, all in on big!"

"Hahaha, it really is big, it really is big, I’ve hit it big this ti!"

"If only I had bet with you."

"..."

Scanning over those gamblers, Chen Mang quickly concluded: "Most likely, these are all shills for this casino, robots used to enhance the atmosphere."

"Now that this city is devoid of people, once restarted, these shills comnced their programd duties."

"But... wasn’t it noted on the map that this city’s laws prohibit robots from being entirely human-like, demanding significant segnts to exhibit their chanical components?"

"Look."

Chen Mang turned his head towards the wall of the casino: "What does that writing say?"

"No smoking, no... engaging with croupiers?"

"Mm."

Chen Mang nodded, pulling out a cigarette from his pocket, lighting it, and exhaling a pale blue smoke before pointing again towards a gambling table intermittently echoing with gamblers’ loud voices: "What are they doing over at that table?"

"Engaging... with croupiers?"

At that gambling table, there were four or five people, with three gamblers excitedly raising their hands and shouting loudly, while another gambler, overly enthusiastic, pressed a croupier’s body against the table firmly.

He kept grabbing chips, stuffing them into the croupier’s clothes.

The croupier cooperated quite well.

If the entertainnt city were full of people, this scene wouldn’t appear too strange. On the contrary, it could effectively stimulate the guests’ emotions, for when in an exciting environnt, one’s emotions naturally escalate, which naturally leads to more robust engagent.

But——

With only these shills in the entertainnt city, this scene appeared rather bizarre.

"I’ll go try."

A trace of doubt flashed in Biaozi’s eyes as he imdiately walked towards the nearest croupier, mimicking his pose to pin her to the table, only for the croupier to say softly in his ear: "Sir, would you like to try? 100,000 points."

"Alright then, you just stand there, don’t shake your hands, don’t wobble your legs."

Biaozi imdiately steadied the croupier, then walked back towards Master Mang’s side: "It’s really expensive, 100,000 for once, much higher than those Custom Shops."

"The main thing sold here is emotion."

Chen Mang rubbed his temples with a bit of headache and walked towards the second floor: "Let’s go, see if there’s anything to make money on the second floor, this chanical Civilization is solidly capitalist, anything you want to do costs money."

At this mont——

A burly man in a pink tank top with a champagne glass in hand approached Chen Mang and the group with a friendly face.

"Yo?"

A trace of surprise flashed in Chen Mang’s eyes; the intelligence level of these shills was quite remarkable, not sure if it’s programming, with interactive features for engaging with custors, the robots he encountered in this city were far less intelligent than Ai, nor as sophisticated as the robots he encountered in the "Heaven-Reaching Tower" Adventure Map.

Essentially, they were governed by pre-set programming, conducting themselves quite rigidly, with each one staying within their designated area, awaiting custors to enter their zone before initiating service protocols.

This was the first ti he encountered one capable of actively interacting with custors.
