Now reading: Chapter 917 - 348: The Death of Satan from System: My Doomsday Train, a Sci-fi novel by Medieval Rabbit.

"So, in that case..."

Chen Mang mused, "I’ve offered incense for quite a few people. It should help them all, right?"

"Ai."

"Gather the data on all those who have died in battle for the train over the years, and have Old Pig make a big incense, keeping it burning twenty-four hours."

"Understood. Should we arrange for a group to die first, to scout the Second Cosmos in advance, making it easier for future invasions?"

"Sure, how about you die first?"

"But Train Captain... After AI death, there’s no qualification to enter the Second Cosmos..."

"..."

Chen Mang gave Ai a sidelong glance, "Don’t go suggesting nonsense like that. It’s just an Underworld, where resources are scarce, far inferior to the First Cosmos. I am immortal; I won’t be going to the Second Cosmos in this lifeti."

He didn’t understand how the demonic civilization escaped from the Second Cosmos.

But he was clear on one thing.

That is, the people of the demonic civilization, even if they die now, can’t return to the Second Cosmos. The Second Cosmos will no longer accept them.

As for any ways besides dying to go to the Second Cosmos, he doesn’t know yet.

Unless...

He could find a way to throw a refrigerator into the Second Cosmos, but no... a refrigerator probably couldn’t achieve that across the cosmos.

He once fantasized about building a Hell Train.

He just didn’t expect that there was actually a Hell Train in existence. He didn’t know what the difference was between the Hell Train’s accessories and his train accessories, and... if he accidentally ended up in Hell, could he still use his Level 0 access?

...

Second Cosmos.

On a desolate planet, with reddish-brown soil, a raggedly dressed man knelt on the ground, staring vacantly at the "porcelain bowl" in his hands.

He died.

After his death, he appeared here.

He didn’t know how he died, or what he encountered before dying. He had no mory. He only knew that when he appeared here, a man in uniform stuffed a bowl into his arms.

He was told.

This is the world after death, where everyone lives indefinitely unless killed. It’s essentially immortality.

When your family is about to burn paper or offer incense, or engage in so other act of rembrance, the "bowl of the past life" in your hands will light up, converting their energy of rembrance into a corresponding resource for you to consu in this world.

At first, he was nervous.

After all, he didn’t know if he had family or children before death, and if he was a lonely old person or had unfilial children, nobody would care for him.

But soon, he was relieved.

Before long, the "porcelain bowl" lit up. This ant his family was about to offer incense for him, but it never gathered into resources. The glow from the porcelain bowl dissipated quickly.

After asking others, he learned that this ant his family thought about offering incense for him but ultimately didn’t take any substantial action.

After understanding, he continued to wait with longing.

The porcelain bowl frequently lit up briefly, giving him endless hope, but each ti it lit up it quickly lost its glow again. Gradually, he fell into endless despair and beca... a "hungry ghost."

In Hell, no one would die of hunger.

This is a world where there’s no famine.

But...

If you have no money to eat, though you won’t starve to death, the intense hunger will enfold you, causing unbearable pain. The pain once drove him to pull out his own innards and eat them.

But he stopped doing that later.

He had no money to see a doctor.

No one to stitch him up.

He lived holding his stomach for a long ti until it gradually healed itself.

Here.

You can earn money through work, but first, you must register, and registering requires a certain fee, which usually needs to be obtained through family offerings. Without this initial fee for registration, earning enough resources beforehand is a difficult task.

At least he didn’t accomplish it.

Sell your rear?

In Hell.

Rear ends are the least valued. He witnessed many hungry ghosts cutting off their lower bodies to sell in the market, after all, they can’t die. In Hell, no one buys a rear end for one-tir use; it’s not worth it.

They buy the whole rear end to play with gradually.

It can be reused.

It lasts a long ti.

It’s quite cost-effective.

This is what everyone does, unless you have really high looks, then you could sell for once off, otherwise there’s no interest.
