Life was getting back on track and things were looking up for Jason and his crew.

This community looked like one that could prosper because they had managed to fit in.

Allison was put to work almost imdiately, they had relinquished custody of the boy and the baby to whoever wanted them.

The plan was never to keep them seeing as they didn’t belong to them nor did they have any long-term plans.

Bella was in no condition to work and this ant she had ti to rest, they knew they needed every one in good condition.

The darkened skies were looking for a release and it got it, water droplets fell from the sky.

This forced everyone to montarily seek shelter.

Jason thought about returning ho but he would be drenched before he could do so; he got a saviour in the na of Glenn.

"Follow ! I live close by!" Glenn exclaid, there was no way Jason or Clentine were about to pass up on this opportunity.

Glenn has been nothing but nice since they ca here and Jason was beginning to appreciate just what kind of person he was.

They arrived in less than five minutes, Glenn wasn’t kidding but his house was a lot different from Jason’s.

It had portraits of drawings hung around it, the arrangent looked like a family ho and not one a bachelor would otherwise stay in.

"Glenn, your ho is beautiful!" Jason exclaid and Glenn smiled in response to this complint, it did an a lot to him.

"Hahaha! Thank you, my wife did it," Glenn responded and Jason’s jaw dropped the mont he heard this.

"YOU’RE MARRIED!?" Jason was unintentionally loud and Glenn nodded to confirm it.

"Do you draw?" Clentine joined in the conversation and he nodded to confirm it.

"The world might have lost its ability to capture the mont but not , with each stroke of my brush I recreate a mory or a sacred mont..." Glenn said.

Jason was surprised because he didn’t picture Glenn as a family man considering his age range.

But more so, he had a lot more depth to him than Jason initially thought.

"Who is this woman?" Clentine asked as she inspected the drawings.

"That’s my wife..." Glenn responded.

"She’s beautiful," Clentine complinted to which Glenn nodded to show that he agreed with her.

"Are you both cold? Would you like to make you so coffee?" Glenn asked and his guests were more than happy to be a recipient of his kind gesture.

They were soaked however and needed to change out of their clothes first, sothing that Glenn noticed.

"I could bring so dry clothes for you if you would like?" Glenn asked after taking a few steps into the kitchen, the kitchen could be seen clearly from where Jason and Clentine stood so they had visuals on Glenn.

"That wouldn’t be necessary..." Jason said, taking off his shirt without warning and pulling his shorts as well.

It’s not like Glenn had anything that could fit him but Clentine wasn’t bothered by this.

"I think that coffee will be enough," Clentine said but the mont she said this, she let out a little sneeze showing that the coffee would not be enough.

She needed to change out of her wet clothes, there was no two ways about this.

"Hahaha! I think I will get you a change of clothes," Glenn said as he put the kettle on fire and headed to the room.

Clentine looked at Jason, his wounds were healing nicely but she wondered how shaless one could be to strip so casually.

"What are you looking at? You like what you see?" Jason caught her staring at him and took this opportunity to try and make her uncomfortable.

"You really are shaless," Clentine muttered under her breath.

"Damn, you’re cold. No wonder Sam dumped your ass," Jason fired back and Clentine didn’t know how to feel about this, she found it funny but it also hurt her at the sa ti.

Jason noticed this and quickly took it upon himself to make things right.

"Shit, my bad. I didn’t an that," Jason knew it was a joke but if the joke hurt the person it was told to then he was in the wrong rather than the person’s reaction to that joke especially if it was a personal one.

Glenn luckily broke the awkwardness that was brewing, appearing just to show them what he had gotten for Clentine.

It was a sleeveless shirt and shorts, these were that of a female.

"Are you sure this is alright? I wouldn’t want your wife to be mad that soone wore her clothes..." Clentine was hesitant but Glenn gave her a reassuring smile.

"My wife wouldn’t mind it, not at all..." Glenn said, handing her the clothes before pointing to the room.

"You can change in that room while I prepare the coffee, I don’t think the rain is going to stop anyti soon either so you people will have to make do with my company for now," Glenn said.

"Sothing tells I will enjoy your company more than Mr. Stripper over here," Clentine said as she headed to the room.

Jason rolled his eyes despite Glenn laughing at this joke.

"Are you sure you’re comfortable the way you’re Jason?" Glenn showed genuine concern.

Jason was appreciative of this gesture, Glenn didn’t have to do half the things he was currently doing yet he did it without complaining.

Whoever he married must be the luckiest woman in the world.

"I’m comfortable, thank you, man. You’re the best!" Jason exclaid but Glenn waved it off.

"Have you always been an artist?" Jason asked, he wanted to know the kind of person that Glenn was.

"I have always found myself in the art I created and I nearly lost myself after the apocalypse started. This house you see, it was my ho before the world fell," Glenn said.

"Oh! That explains, where is the mystery lady? I would love to et her!" Jason wanted to see who Glenn was married to because he didn’t know such people even existed.

"Hahaha! I’m afraid that isn’t possible," Glenn retorted.

"Geez, I know I’m not dressed for the occasion but I promise I will be on my best behaviour!" Jason tried to reassure Glenn.

"That isn’t it... She is-!" Glenn said but before the conversation could go any further, the kettle signified that the water inside was boiling by the whistle that echoed.

At approximately the sa ti, Clentine walked out of the room and she looked amazing in sothing so simple.

Jason was impressed and he caught his eyes wandering to her chest, she had removed her bra and it was obvious by the way the cloth hugged her breasts.

"What?" Clentine said but Jason didn’t respond, only looking away with Clentine taking a seat beside him.

Glenn went to the kitchen to make their coffee but Jason caught himself thinking about the conversation they just had but he didn’t want to think too much about it.

Glenn offered them the coffee but for so reason, he didn’t stay with them.

"I’m feeling a little tired, is it okay if I head in?" Glenn asked. It was his ho yet he was seeking their permission?

"Sure, take your ti! Thank you very much man, I owe you one," Jason responded to which Glenn smiled before leaving.

Jason drank his coffee without second guessing but upon drinking it, he realized that Clentine wasn’t drinking but rather observing him.

"Drink it or it will get cold," Jason said with a raised brow, wondering why she wasn’t.

"You trust too easily, Jason..." Clentine said in a hushed tone. They didn’t know Glenn and he could have easily drugged the tea.

This was why Clentine didn’t drink, she wanted to confirm he didn’t by using Jason as a guinea pig.

She knew that there was no way he would kill them but there were so many other things he could do.

"You have trust issues, there’s no way he wou..." Jason began slobbering over his words.

"Jason, are you okay?" Clentine asked, visibly worried.

Jason clutched his chest before slumping on the couch he was seated on and Clentine observed the door.

Clentine mounted Jason to have a better balance for what she was about to do.

She quickly forced Jason’s mouth open and stuck her finger down his throat to force him to throw up the coffee, hoping to lessen the effect of whatever it was but a hand soon pushed her.

"W-What the fuck woman!?" Jason coughed and Clentine looked at him puzzled before realizing what it was that Jason was doing.

He was ssing with her and Clentine couldn’t believe it but sothing happened that caught both their attention.

".... Are you...?" Clentine asked, pausing as her gaze was focused on a part of Jason.

Jason realized at that mont why wearing just his boxers was a terrible idea as it was barely wet due to the type of clothes he was clothed in but right now, there is no denying it.

Jason had an erection and Clentine took a sip of her coffee, the awkwardness that followed was loud.

"Fuck ..." Jason thought to himself.
