Alex took Jason and they had arrived at the entrance. Jason could tell that he was about to enter a den of criminals and he could feel his heartbeat increase.
He couldn’t deny it, he was scared as to what he would see and Alex could sense his unease.
"Keep your head down and don’t speak," This was all Alex said and Jason was surprised because this sounded more like advice than it did a warning.
The entrance opened and Jason stepped into what could potentially be considered the worst place to be in right now.
The air felt different, the stench that ca with walking in almost made him throw out, he looked around quickly and saw people either high or wasted around.
Jason knew that this would be where one would co if they gave up on life because there was nothing that could justify being in such an environnt.
"Move," Alex commanded and Jason noticed that Alex was getting the sa look as he was even though it wasn’t everyone looking at him that way.
Jason understood at that mont that not everyone was on friendly terms with Alex but no one dared challenge him or so he thought.
"If it isn’t little Alex..." A pale-skinned man walked right in front of him and this man was a lot bigger than even Jason. Jason had to look up at him and he couldn’t believe that soone this big could exist.
He was bald but he had a full brown beard, his body was so buffed that the veins felt like they would pop out of his skin at any mont. If Hulk could be a human, this would be what he would look like. He went by the na Logan.
Alex didn’t respond to him and attempted to move past him but a much smaller man blocked his path once again, he was approximately 5 ’5. This man was the opposite of the bigger man because he had full brown hair but he had no beard, it was like soone cut and pasted features of both n from one another. He went by the na Paul.
"Hey, that is rude... You don’t ignore Big Logan!" Paul barked but Alex had an indifferent face.
Alex flashed Jason a glance before sighing, there was no need to have Jason bound anymore and the fact that he didn’t escape when he needed to showed that he had no intentions of doing so.
Alex walked towards both of these people, raising his head as he was ready for the conflict that was about to ensue.
"That is enough you three," Liam appeared and the n imdiately backed down but Jason noticed that Alex was reaching for the pistol at his back.
He had no plans on fighting, he wanted to straight up execute them.
Jason knew things would have gotten ssy if he did and he would rather not get caught in the middle of so dick asuring contest.
The n stepped aside and Liam gestured for Alex to co through, Jason was huge so Liam was surprised that Alex could capture him but it made it even more impressive.
He wondered where Bella was because she was the primary reason that they had gone out in the first place.
Alex could tell Liam was full of questions but both n knew this wasn’t the ti or place to have this conversation so they both kept their mouths shut.
Jason was taken into a dark cell, he could tell that this was just a basent that had been modified into a cell but this made him wonder why cells even existed; that ans that even sowhere as depraved as this had laws and people that they locked up.
Jason couldn’t even see anything, he was trapped in the darkness and the floor of his cell was swampy.
Jason didn’t want to know what it was but it didn’t sll as repulsive as the air out there.
Jason knew that they were either going to torture him or worse, kill him.
Jason wasn’t going to withhold any information about Bella, anything they wanted to know he was willing to divulge because he held a grudge against her.
Jason hated being lied to, he spent his life avoiding people because he had experienced first-hand the kind of pain losing a bond could inflict.
He never wanted to experience such pain ever again and he had taken steps to ensure this never happens again.
But seeing as Bella was his first, and the sex was so fucking good, she imprinted on him.
This is what happens when soone is an individual’s first experience, they beco the first person that cos to mind when they think about that thing but why was Jason here?
That question had a simple answer, Jason was here because of Chronos, what happened to the earlier mission of eliminating the threats? He could have run with Bella and killed her probably but Jason had signed an agreent with Chronos so his quest was temporarily suspended as Chronos had use for him.
A cough echoed in the darkness, Jason realized he wasn’t alone but this cough wasn’t from his cell. The cough got progressively worse and Jason had to put his hand over his nose in case so disease was flying around but this wouldn’t do much as he would still breathe it in.
"Who is there!?" Jason asked and the mont he did, the cough subsided.
He soon heard footsteps coming towards him and Jason was at ease, he wished Chronos would help him but Chronos has been silent for quite so ti now.
He then heard the ntal shackles that were confining this person begin to shake, this person was shaking it like he was a gorilla in the zoo.
Jason knew that you had to be extrely dangerous for criminals to think even if you are a threat to them. He was here because they wished to interrogate him but every fibre of his being told him that whoever was behind that cell was here for sothing a lot worse.
"Chronos, what have you gotten into..." Jason muttered to himself.
