"Do you understand your mission, my child?" the Elder asked, his voice like dry parchnt.

We’ve already deeded a penthouse in the New Territory to your na, and a Royal-issue Ares sedan is waiting in the garage. Full dical, including ’Eternal-Grade’ coverage for your mother. Anything you dream of, Royal provides."
Lucas stamred, his heart racing. "I... I didn’t expect this much responsibility so soon."
"Responsibility is a privilege," the Director smiled, then leaned forward. "But there’s more. We don’t just want you to manage for us; we want you to *be* one of us. You’ve heard of the miracles of Royal?"
The Director signaled to a guard standing by the door. The guard stepped forward, took a solid steel rebar from a display, and with a casual flick of his wrist, folded the thick tal into a perfect knot as if it were a piece of wet pasta.
"This is the result of **Nectar-X**," the Director whispered. "It is the pinnacle of human evolution. As a manager, you will be eligible for the refinent program. You can beco more than a man, Lucas. You can beco a super-human."
Lucas looked at the knotted steel, then at the luxury surrounding him. He felt like he had been chosen by destiny.

You won’t have to lift a finger in terms of manual labor, but you must ensure the quotas are t. We need you to leave in three days. Don’t worry about packing. We’ve already outfitted your new ho with everything you could possibly need."
Lucas stood up, shaking the Director’s hand with newfound confidence. "Tell Mr. Etienne I won’t let him down. I’m ready."
As Lucas walked out of the office, his chest puffed out with pride, the Director’s smile faded into a neutral, robotic expression. He opened a private channel to the Logistics Departnt.
"The target has accepted. Proceed with the relocation to Sector 9. Ensure the ’Security’ teams are in place for his... supervision."
Lucas practically floated back to his mother’s apartnt. When he burst through the door and shared the details of the "Executive Vanguard" package, the joy on Helen’s face was the most genuine thing Ethan had ever bought.
