Zia stared at the communicator on her wrist with annoyance. She had tried to turn it on, yet even after multiple attempts, it simply refused to work.
However, when she asked Sherry to open it, the Communicator booted up without any problems.
Next, Zia tried to ride a hoverboard, which could be used for a leisure stroll in the city.
But even that didn't work.
Sherry then tried using it, and it worked just fine.
Zia then experinted a few more tis with different equipnt and artifacts, as well as devices that Wanderers used on a regular basis.
None of them worked, which confird her suspicion.
'This might be the side effect of pushing myself to the limit,' Zia thought.
She wasn't too worried because she could instinctively feel that this was only a temporary thing.
Everything would go back to normal once the Chandrean Bloodline inside her body settled down.
Fortunately, there was one particular skill that still worked in her current state.
It was none other than Destiny Bond.
The young lady looked at her pinky finger and saw threads of different colors tied around it.
In fact, she could now see the colors more clearly, as if the lack of other abilities enhanced the only ability left functioning.
A pink thread fluttered in the breeze, connecting Zia's pinky finger and Princess Aracelle's.
Another thread that was orange in color, connecting her and Sherry.
There were other colors as well.
Although these threads extended past Zia's room, she could vaguely feel to whom these threads connected.
The blue thread connected him and Erica, while the silvery white thread connected him with Shana.
But aside from these four colors, there were three more colors added to the mix.
A red thread that connected him and the black snake bracelet on her arm. Clearly, this thread connected him and Tiona.
But surprisingly, two more threads fluttered in the breeze, which prompted Zia to look where they were connected.
These two threads were very faint, nearly invisible to the eyes.
However, Zia could vaguely see them, which made him frown. Those two threads were connected to unexpected people, both of whom were also in the sa city.
There were only a few individuals in Casimir City right now, which didn't surpass the number of fingers in his hands.
After taking a deep breath, Zia decided to follow the golden thread and the purple thread, which seed to be in the sa place.
But in order to follow them, she needed to concentrate. Once she lost track, the threads would disappear from her sight.
This was very different from the other threads, which were shining in bright colors as if to prove their strong ties to her.
Sherry and Princess Aracelle followed behind Zia without questioning where they were going.
They watched her walk with her pinky finger raised as if she was making so kind of pinky promise to soone they couldn't see.
Destiny Bond was a skill that "The One" bestowed to Thirteen, which was a Divine Skill.
Even now, she still didn't know what it could really do, so she was curious to find more clues about it.
Right now, she couldn't use any forms of technology, as well as abilities.
Her connection to Athena, Nautilus, and her Monster Army, as well as to the Order of the Apocalypse, seed to have been blocked off by an invisible force.
In short, this was the perfect opportunity to know more about Destiny Bond, whose power was showing itself when everything else had disappeared.
When they entered the main lobby of the hotel they were currently staying at, the sound of girls talking reached her ear.
It didn't take long before she ca across the group of four ladies, naly Princess Laventia, Princess Xynalia, Stella, and Siri.
When Zia, Sherry, and Princess Aracelle arrived, the four girls stopped talking and looked in their direction.
Thirteen concentrated to check where the golden and purple threads were connected to.
And her discovery made him frown.
The golden thread was connected to Stella, and the purple thread was connected to Princess Xynalia.
"You got to be kidding ," Zia muttered after she realized this fact.
She then took a deep breath and cut off her concentration, making the two threads disappear from her sight.
Earlier, she only noticed the two other colored threads because she was paying close attention to her pinky finger.
But now, only the threads of her lovers remained.
"Is there sothing wrong?" Princess Xynalia frowned "Why are you looking at as if you have eaten a fly?"
"I may have eaten a fly," Zia replied.
"Excuse ?"
"Just ignore , Princess." First sееn оn
Thirteen was very smart. In fact, she may be the smartest person in the world of Pangea at the mont.
But even she couldn't understand or explain why Stella and Princess Xynalia were connected to her through the skill Destiny Bond.
Although their connection to her was very weak, the fact remained that the connection existed.
Even though she couldn't see it right now, she was certain that within this room, two invisible threads fluttered in the breeze and connected her with the two ladies she only ever saw as acquaintances.
'I might have erased a few mories from my Soul Core, just like my mories with Aracelle,' Thirteen thought. 'But I can feel with utmost certainty that Stella and Princess Xynalia aren't my forr hosts.'
Of course, she also didn't know that Princess Aracelle was once her host.
But the fragnted mories that she gathered was enough to tell her that they had shared a true connection once upon a ti.
Even now, she couldn't rember the ti she spent with her.
She understood that it must've been a very painful mory that threatened to destabilize her function as a system in the past, which forced her to erase her mory.
But, perhaps Thirteen didn't want to fully forget her, so she kept the fragnted mories of her in her soul core, which would beco known to her when the ti was right.
Zia then glanced at Stella, whom she believed ca from a mysterious background.
She was the older sister of Maple and Cinnamon, who possessed powers that even she didn't fully understand.
