In the City of Velmusa...
Prince Aurelion had gathered his warlords, as well as the leaders of the other factions, to have a eting.
Although he didn’t want to admit it, the technology of the Wanderers had made them sowhat addicted to it.
However, now that it was gone, he decided to start his conquest of the continent once more.
The Artemians were still a thorn on his side, but their location was currently unknown. As such, he could only set his sights on Casimir City, where the Jinns who had allied themselves with the Wanderers were currently stationed.
Unlike the Wanderers who had decided to evacuate far out into the sea, Camazotz’s and Zapar’s forces were unable to do the sa.
They were trapped in the continent just like everyone else, which made them pri targets for the Dragonkin’s first campaign after a series of setbacks.
Lastly, he believed that Zia was still with the Death Bat, so attacking Casimir City was a foregone conclusion.
"We have rested enough," Prince Aurelion announced. "And now, we need to once again beat the drums of war. Since the cowardly Wanderers have escaped, and the bastard Artemians are still in hiding, we can only target the Jinns who are not part of our alliance.
"The Death Bat has allied with the Wanderers and is using Casimir City as their base. We need to crush them to send a ssage that anyone who dares to ss with us will only have one fate—death!"
The Dragonkin Prince eyed the faces of the leaders of the different factions because he knew that they were very wary of him.
But it didn’t matter. He knew they couldn’t do anything since the Dragonkin and his Army were currently the strongest force in the alliance.
"Prepare for war," Prince Aurelion declared. "We will march three days from now. It is ti to eliminate our enemies and claim this land as our own!"
The officers of the Dragonkin Army all cheered, but the leaders of the different factions didn’t react as happily as them.
In fact, all of them wished that they were in so place else other than this eting.
Prince Valen, Lady Ristella, Prince Zorren, and Prince Xylen exchanged knowing glances with each other.
They had lost any ans to contact Zion and the Wanderers, so they had to put their plan to switch sides on hold.
They weren’t stupid.
Unless they managed to contact Zion, they would not burn bridges with Prince Aurelion, especially now that he looked determined to start the war once more.
A few hours later, the leaders of the different factions returned to their domains within Velmusa City and shared the eting’s outco to everyone.
When Zapar heard that the Jinns would start their march in three days to reach Casimir City, he decided to leave and inform Camazotz, as well as his forces, that the enemy was coming.
Leaving the city at this ti was still easy, so he didn’t hesitate to leave while he still could.
No one stopped him or asked where he was going since he was still in succubus form.
For the Jinns, the Succubus were pretty harmless, and they’ve always been considered a neutral party.
As such, Zapar traveled without stopping until he reached a location, which he deed safe to return to his original form.
After regaining his Rank and power, Zapar’s travel ti was cut down. However, he didn’t specialize in speed like Camazotz, who would travel at the speed of sound, so it took him a day to reach Casimir City.
Even though he was exhausted, he still sought out Zia and Camazotz to inform them about the plans of the Majins to attack Casimir City.
"So the ti has finally co," Camazotz frowned. "What should we do, Zion?"
"We will run away," Zia replied without hesitation. "We cannot fight them in a head-on battle. At most, we can only use guerilla warfare against them. We are outnumbered in both quality and quantity."
As their eting was taking place, a knock was heard on the door.
"Young Master, a representative of the Artemians has co," Hans said from the other side of the door. "They wish to talk to the leaders of the Wanderers and the Jinns who are with us."
Zia frowned because she couldn’t et with the Artemians at the mont.
She was one of their priority targets, so she’d be in danger once again if she appeared before them.
"Where is Cristopher?" Zia asked.
"He’s with Princess Aracelle now and is already in full alert," Hans answered.
Just in case the Artemians were to suddenly doublecross them, Zia had ordered Cristopher to act as Princess Aracelle’s bodyguard at all tis.
Since Shana was in the naval base, she was safe for the ti being.
But Princess Aracelle was a different matter.
She could no longer escape to the Domain of the Apocalypse or summon Zion’s Monster Army to help her.
As such, the only one who could protect her at this ti was Cristopher.
"Tell Commander Marion and Alcapone to et with them," Hans stated. "Tell them to listen to the proposal and decide whether to accept it or not. Camazotz and Zapar will also be there to join the eting, so they shouldn’t have to worry about anything."
The young lady glanced at the Death Bat, who gave her a nod of assurance.
"Relax, I’ll handle it," Camazotz replied.
"I’ll be there, so you can leave things to ," Zapar comnted.
After making her arrangents, Zia asked Hans to tell Cristopher to bring Princess Aracelle to her.
They were currently at their most vulnerable ti, so safety should be their top priority.
A few minutes later, Cristopher, Sherry, Princess Aracelle, Princess Laventia, Princess Xynalia, Stella, and Siri entered the room.
Although they weren’t called, the two Majin Princesses only felt safe when they were with Zion.
Stella and Siri were also worried about Zia’s safety, so they decided to co as well.
"Listen to ," Zia said. "The Artemians have co before we can make an announcent, but the Jinns are going to attack this city in three days."
"What?!" Princess Laventia’s face turned pale after hearing Zia’s report. "Oh no! What should we do?!"
"Calm down," Princess Xynalia said. "What are you worried about? I an, we are the princesses of the Velmoria Kingdom. The Jinns will not harm us, okay? It should be Zion and the others who should be worried, not us."
"Oh!" Princess Laventia who seed to have rembered that she was in fact, a Majin Princess, breathed a sigh of relief and patted her chest.
Princess Xynalia then glanced at Zia, who was being hugged by Princess Aracelle from behind.
"What will you do now?" Princess Xynalia asked.
"I’ll decide after the eting with the Artemians is over," Zia answered. "If they beco our allies, we will be able to co up with a strategy. If not, then we will have no choice but to escape.
"The two of you should also find a way to reunite with your Aunt Ristella. I’m sure that she’s worried about the two of you."
Princess Xynalia hesitated, but still reluctantly nodded in agreent.
"We will do as you say," Princess Xynalia replied.
Although it was short, she realized that she had been sowhat happy to be with Zion.
She didn’t want to leave him, but she had to talk to her Aunt. Only then could they finalize their alliance with Zion, promising to grant assistance at the critical mont when he needed it the most.
