Three miles away from the main battlefield between the Artemians and the Alliance...
"You might have defeated , but the mont our King is done with his opponent, all of you will die!" The Artemian Commander sneered as he looked at Camazotz, who had swapped places with Zapar.
He was currently beaten and battered, with the Death Bat’s foot pressing on his head, preventing him from standing up from the ground.
"Blah, blah, blah," Camazotz replied. "Did you not notice anything? I haven’t even asked for your na since the battle started. Do you know why?"
"..." The Artemian Commander didn’t reply, but he was also curious why his opponent didn’t ask for his na.
Although declaring soone’s na in the battlefield wasn’t really a custom, there were tis when both combatants, especially when fighting a one-on-one battle would state their nas at each other.
"The answer is really simple," Camazotz replied. "I don’t need the nas of unimportant side characters!"
"W-What do you an, side characters?!"
"Hush, a loser like you should just shut up and accept your fate."
Camazotz then waved his hand, summoning a portal a few ters in front of him.
When the portal finally appeared, the Death Bat unceremoniously kicked the Artemian Commander inside, as if he was just kicking a piece of rock by the road.
"Well, then. Ti to collect more subordinates," Camazotz, who had just sent an Archon to the Domain of the Apocalypse, smirked as he flew toward the battlefield.
In less than a minute, he arrived at his destination and scanned the battlefield for suitable targets.
"There you are," Camazotz grinned as he dived toward one of the Golden Azothralls brought by King Astrion when he crossed over to Pangea.
Just one smack on the head and a backhanded slap was all it took for the Golden Azothrall to be defeated.
Camazotz then grabbed its neck, flew high in the sky, and tossed the Golden Azothrall toward the purple portal he had left open in the distance.
After confirming that the Golden Azothrall had crossed over to the other side, Camazotz once again scanned the battlefield and smacked another Golden Azothrall without rcy.
The mbers of the Order of the Apocalypse who were watching the battle looked at each other in dismay.
How could they not know what Camazotz was doing?
The Death Bat was looking for strong Artemians and Azothralls to be his subordinates after a brainwashing session in the Domain of the Apocalypse!
"I-Is that even allowed?" Zagan, the leader of a group that included Zapar, asked Beelzebub, who was seated across from him.
"... I don’t know," Beelzebub replied.
But the answer was already glaringly obvious.
They simply refused to acknowledge it!
"Damn!" Paimon clenched her fists in jealousy as Camazotz continued to toss the High-Ranking Artemians and Azothralls inside the purple portal, as if buying cheap vegetables in the market and stuffing them into his cart.
"If I only knew... I would have gone as well!" Paimon muttered angrily.
Kamrusepa gave her ally a faint smile. Among them, Camazotz was the one with the least number of high-ranking subordinates in his army.
Simply put, this war was an all-you-can-grab buffet for the Death Bat, who now didn’t have to worry about Archons preventing him from going on a kidnapping spree.
Most of the Archons were defeated, with Roen and Azoh’Karn being the only ones left fighting back against the Allied Armies.
This gave Camazotz free rein to do what he wanted without worrying about getting targeted by anyone!
Zapar, who had returned to the Domain of the Apocalypse for his own safety, swirled the wine inside his wine glass as he stared at Camazotz with envy.
He had to work hard before managing to put a slave collar on Korrin and forcibly making her his subordinate.
As for Camazotz? The Death Bat didn’t have any ans to forcefully enslave his enemies, so he rely tossed them inside the Domain of the Apocalypse to be handled by tatron at a later ti.
Truth be told, the Death Bat had gotten this idea from Thirteen.
Obviously, bringing other life forms inside the Domain of the Apocalypse wasn’t allowed.
But since Thirteen was their weakest mber, tatron permitted him to increase the number of his subordinates by sending the monsters he defeated to the Domain of the Apocalypse, forcing them to beco his subordinates.
This was what happened with Zed, Evuvug, Gwenn, Khan, Harahon, and Lord Zorca.
They were now loyal to Zion and fighting for his cause.
Camazotz then approached tatron and justified doing the sa by saying—since he and Zion were part of the sa team, his forces were also Thirteen’s forces.
tatron only laughed. It was very obvious that Camazotz was only using Thirteen to get what he wanted.
However, it was also true that Camazotz was fighting alongside Thirteen, sothing the God of the Apocalypse acknowledged.
In the end, tatron gave Camazotz the go signal to do what he wanted, which made the Death Bat very happy.
Just like an Auntie on a limited-ti shopping spree, the Death Bat flew across the battlefield and grabbed the enemies he deed would be a good addition to his army.
He prioritized taking the Rank 8 and Rank 9 Azothralls since even Thirteen admitted they were the perfect killing machines in the battlefield.
Their fast adaptation and ability to transform their bodies made them really versatile fighters.
Camazotz believed whatever the teenage boy said, so he made sure to grab as many as he could while Cranky and King Astrion were still fighting.
The more Zapar and the mbers of the Order of the Apocalypse watched the shaless Death Bat, the more they felt envious, wishing they could get the sa treatnt from tatron.
"This is clearly favoritism," Zapar muttered under his breath.
Originally, he only planned to beco a temporary ally of Zion and his group.
But seeing his teammates receive so preferential treatnt, he was now truly tempted to switch sides and join Thirteen’s group as a permanent mber!
Camazotz humd a jaunty tune as he slapped another Rank 8 Azothrall unconscious and hurled it into the waiting portal.
Each thud of a broken body into the violet void was like music to his ears.
"Ahhh, what a fruitful harvest!" Camazotz cackled. "If this keeps up, I’ll have an army that can dominate not only Pangea but also Solterra!"
The Allied Armies nearby gave him strange looks, but no one dared to complain.
After all, Camazotz was not only terrifyingly strong, but he was also helping them by taking care of the strong enemies that could have easily killed them.
Every Azothrall and Artemian he abducted was one less terror on the battlefield.
Still, the way he did it was so casual and so greedy, even his supposed allies felt uneasy watching him across the battlefield with an evil grin plastered on his devilish face.
’First Thirteen, now him...’ Zapar thought bitterly. ’Why does tatron indulge them so much, while the rest of us have to struggle and scrape for every subordinate?’
In the end, he kept these thoughts to himself as he shook his head helplessly.
Right now, the battle was nearing its end, with the Allied Armies holding the upper hand, sweeping across the battlefield like a raging tide nearly impossible to stop.
