The teenage boy returned to his tent and extinguished the lamp by his side. As he laid down on his simple bedding, he began formulating a plan inside his head.
His thoughts went to the Wanderers living in isolation, clinging to whatever hope they had left.
Three Champions ruling over three thousand lost souls...
It was a small miracle that the city hadn’t been wiped out by monsters.
But it was also a sign that the Champions had consolidated absolute control.
’If I leave them as they are, they’ll fall apart sooner or later,’ Thirteen thought. ’Those teenagers... their eyes were empty. It goes without saying that they’ve lost hope.’
He then lightly rubbed the head of Tiona, who was nuzzling his cheek.
"Guess I’ll be playing babysitter again, Tiona," Thirteen said softly. "Do you think those naughty kids will listen to ?"
Tiona uncoiled herself from Thirteen’s neck and transford into her human form.
"They have no choice but to listen to you, Master," Tiona replied before lying down beside him. "If they don’t want to listen, they can stay in that city and fend for themselves until they draw their last breath."
The young lady then hugged Thirteen, enjoying this mont they had together.
Back in Pangea and Artem, Tiona didn’t make any move and simply watched as her Master’s lovers spent so intimate monts with him.
But now that it was only the two of them, Tiona decided to hold Zion in her arms, feeling his warmth that made her feel safe and happy.
The teenage boy hugged Tiona back and even planted a kiss on her cheek.
They had been together since his First Wandering and developed a special bond that surpassed even those of his lovers.
Tiona secretly summoned her clone and ordered it to guard Thirteen’s tent.
Right now, it was her ti to be with him, and she wouldn’t allow anyone to interfere with their alone ti together.
Fortunately, no one bothered them, so Tiona enjoyed a happy night with Zion.

An hour before sunrise...
Derek woke up abruptly, sensing sothing was amiss.
As a warrior who had spent much ti camping outdoors in Solterra, this sixth sense had always warned him of danger.
He hurriedly left his tent, and just as he expected, he found Roland outside, holding his sword at the ready.
A few other Wanderers had also sensed that sothing was off, so they had also taken out their weapons and looked at their surroundings warily.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?"
A voice filled with amusent reached everyone’s ears.
Roland and Derek looked in the direction from where the voice ca and saw a black rhinoceros that was at least three ters tall.
Sitting on its back was a man in his early thirties, giving off the presence of a Champion.
"It seems that your calendar is still working properly, Bob," the man seated on the black rhinoceros joked with the person mounted on the back of a Black Panther. "Today is the Solstice in Pangea, and just like you said, a new batch of Wanderers is sent here in the ruins."
The person nad Bob frowned as he gazed at Roland and Derek.
"Don’t those two look familiar to you, Jason?" Bob asked. "I think I’ve seen them sowhere before."
The man sitting on the black rhinoceros squinted his eyes and focused his attention on Roland and Derek.
Suddenly, he started laughing as if he had discovered sothing very amusing.
"Of course, he looks familiar, Bob." Jason chuckled. "We have ourselves here a Hero and his sidekick."
"Sidekick?" Derek frowned. "Are you talking to ?"
"Yes, I am talking to you, Derek the Swordsman," Jason replied. "You’re the sidekick of Roland, who is standing beside you."
"You bastard..." Derek took a step forward, but Roland placed his hand on his friend’s shoulder, stopping his advance.
"We’re surrounded," Roland said. "Don’t do anything rash."
As if proving his words were correct, several Wanderers appeared around their camp.
This sudden turn of events made the Wanderers in the camp feel anxious. After a quick check, they discovered that the people encircling them were at least a thousand strong.
"Well then, Mr. Hero," Jason said in a teasing tone. "Pray tell what your mission is? Relax, if we feel like it, we might even help you finish your mission."
The other Wanderers that were part of Jason’s group started to laugh as if they heard sothing extrely amusing.
Jason was one of the three Champions who ruled the city of Wanderers. His main role was to ensure that the new batch of Wanderers would fail their missions. That way, they would have no choice but to beco just like them.
After seeing celebrities like Roland and Derek, he beca more determined to prevent them from accomplishing their mission, preventing them from returning to Pangea.
"Hey, don’t think that you can intimidate us!" Derek shouted. "Do you know who is also in this camp? My master is here!"
"Your Master?" Jason frowned.
A quick glance at Derek, and he could tell that the swordsman was of the Master rank. If his master was really here, that could only an that a Champion might have been sent this ti around in the ruins.
"And who is your Master?" Bob asked. "Introduce us to him."
"Hmph! Are you sure?" Derek snorted with his arms crossed over his chest. "My Master has a very short temper. He is sleeping now, but if you disturb him... all of you will be dead at."
The swordsman even made a cutting motion on his neck, which made Jason and Bob sneer at him.
"It seems that you need to learn your lesson the hard way," Jason said. "I’ll make you understand that in these lands, I, Jason, am the law! Boys, beat them to submission!"
Just as Jason’s underlings were about to pounce on the group of Wanderers that they had targeted as their prey, two monsters suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
The first one was Giga, and the second was Blacky.
Seeing the Rank 8 Blaze Skunk Sovereign and the Rank 8 Terror Black Hound, Derek knew that they no longer had to fear anyone.
Roland even chuckled, already anticipating the one-sided bullying waiting to happen next.
Without any warning, Giga turned around and raised its tail, facing Jason and Bob.
Before the two could even do anything, Giga unleashed his Giga Destroyer, which made the person who declared that he was "The Law" understand that this was the end of his stupidly long reign.
