"I fear Zion's claim about the mutated gates are true," Douglas said, addressing the leaders of the various factions whose forces had gathered in the Cygni Continent.

"As you have seen in the video I just shared with all of you, an unknown monster with countless eyes had appeared past the 400-mile safety zone Zion had stated. My subordinate barely escaped with his life.

"It appears this monster could hypnotize anyone whose gaze had locked with one of its many eyes. Although I don't know if it's stronger than the Brain Beetle Evuvug, it's still a monster we can't afford to face unprepared."

Douglas had been reluctant to share the footage where he had shown intimacy and concern for the rcenary Leader, but he had to let everyone know exactly what had happened.

In any case, if it weren't for Douglas' initiative to reach out to his subordinate, none of the Wanderers sent to scout might have been able to escape the encounter with a monster they had only seen for the first ti in their lives.

Having watched the video, Zion was very much intrigued by the monster, as well as the young man who had appeared beside it.

Aside from the faint tattoo-like markings on the young man's face, he looked very much like an ordinary human.

But despite his appearance, everyone could instinctively feel that the young man wasn't human, especially after they saw him casually treat the giant snail as a pet.

"Zion, what do you think?" Douglas asked. "Who do you think is that humanoid beside that monster? We have collaborated with the Central Governnt to find out his identity, but we didn't find any results even after we compared his features to every face in the database."

After what happened to his subordinate, Douglas was more certain that Zion's output was more credible than those who were just making guesses on the current state of things.

"I can think of only two possibilities regarding that person's identity," Thirteen replied after pondering for a few seconds. "The first possibility is that he might be a native of Gomorra who passed through the mutated gates.

"The second possibility is that he ca from another world aside from Gomorra. I'm not ruling out the possibility that he might be from Solterra."

Thirteen had already tasked Athena to monitor the young man in the video.

However, since he couldn't get audio through her surveillance, he decided to send so of his demons to investigate.

It would take them a while to reach the unknown young man's destination, so Thirteen couldn't share anything concrete at this point in ti.

However, he believed that his two guesses were closest to the truth.

After hearing the teenage boy's reply, everyone felt that things had beco more complicated than ever.

If a similar threat to Evuvug had appeared in the Cygni Continent, everyone was in danger of falling into the giant snail's control.

"For the ti being, at least it's confird that this snail need its victim to gaze on its body before it can take hold of them," Douglas stated. "Unfortunately, even if we know this, we won't be able to do anything if it suddenly appears before us.

"Since our first instinct is to look at the imdiate threat, we would be under its control in seconds. Right now, we can confirm that it can hypnotize Champions. If it can also hypnotize Thrones, we will be in serious trouble."

During the war in the Rigel Continent, Evuvug could mind control Champions easily.

Thrones were able to resist its mind attack, and Monarchs were completely unaffected by it.

But it didn't change the fact that it was a dangerous existence that should be at the top of their Kill List when the invasion started fully.

On the other hand, Thirteen had listed it on the top of his list of Monsters that must be captured without fail.

Of course, he understood the dangers of facing such a creature.

Because of this, he needed to make ample preparations to ensure that his own forces wouldn't fall under the giant snail's control.

'Fortunately, we beca aware of its existence before we encountered it in the real war,' Thirteen mused. 'Otherwise, that monster's threat level can be considered on par with Rank 9 Sovereigns.'

While the giant snail didn't seem to have any other offensive abilities aside from its hypnosis, there was still a chance that it was hiding a trump card.

"Everyone, I think it will be better if we reduce the safety zone from four hundred miles to three hundred miles," Tristan comnted. "No one is allowed to go beyond that point. The lesson has been taught, and we must keep it in mind.

"Also, that young man might still have other monsters just as troubleso as that giant snail. For the ti being, I advise every faction to regularly send out drones to scout the surrounding areas and share any information with our alliance, just like what Sir Douglas had done for all of us."

Douglas nodded in agreent, for this kind of information would affect the battlefield as a whole.

The leaders of the different factions agreed, especially the representatives of the Prestigious Families and the Monarch Clans.

Arthur had also joined the eting through a projection, allowing him to better understand the situation.

Right now, the Patriarch of the Leventis Family was traveling with Zion, ensuring that his no-good grandson would not bite off more than he could chew and suddenly drop dead in the process.

He even wondered what might have happened if they had t that giant snail during their exploration.

Would everyone else be put under its control?

Arthur shuddered at the re thought of Zion being mind-controlled by anyone.

If he were to beco humanity's enemy, then what were their chances of winning against him?

The Patriarch of the Leventis Family didn't know that Tristan and Douglas also feared this idea, so they asked the teenage boy in private to stop his field work and return to Casimir City, where it was safe.

Unfortunately, Thirteen politely declined their offer.

If other people had faced that giant snail, they might have been in trouble, but not him.

The mont Zion was endangered, Tiona, Giga, Blacky, Rocky, and Hercules would go all out and kill those who threatened their Master's life.
