"How are you feeling?" Sherry asked.
"I feel better than yesterday," Thirteen replied.
He did feel better, but his body was still as heavy as lead.
It seed that he had truly overworked himself in his most recent project.
Truth be told, his body had constantly been in an overworked state ever since he arrived at the Cygni Continent.
Whenever he was 'free,' he sotis visited the Domain of the Apocalypse and tinkered with a few things, just like Prince Xylen's power suit and the Beetle Cannon the Prince had used to fight against Giga.
He thought he was properly pacing himself, but based on his current situation, he had miscalculated by creating four mythical-ranked rings.
And all because of one particular dream, where he had been forced to choose whom he must save among his three lovers.
If such a situation were to beco a reality, Thirteen had no intention of choosing or forsaking those close to him.
He refused to end up just like his hosts, whose loved ones had been used against them.
Such an ending was nowhere in what he envisioned for his current lifeti, and if he could help it, he would not allow it to beco a reality.
"What do you want to eat?" Sherry asked.
"Cereals," Thirteen replied. "With milk."
Sherry nodded and left the room to get the food that her lover wanted to eat.
Truth be told, Thirteen wasn't a big fan of cereals.
He preferred the ho-cooked als his mother made whenever he was ho.
But he didn't want to worry Sherry too much, so he decided to eat sothing plain and simple.
Maple and Cinnamon would often eat cereal for breakfast when they were still together.
Maybe he missed the two energetic gluttons and decided to eat so cereal to get so of their energy.
Closing his eyes, he communicated with Rocky, who was currently hundreds of ters under the infirmary of the military.
The Hellfire Bal-Boa was also worried about its Master, so it decided to rest sowhere where it could imdiately co to the latter's aid as soon as needed.
Thirteen wanted Rocky to make a quick trip to the Planar Mountain Range to pick up Evuvug. But to his surprise, Rocky refused.
The Hellfire Bal-Boa insisted that it would stay with Thirteen until he was well enough to defend himself, especially since Tiona was currently in a state of hibernation.
'But I'm inside Casimir City, Rocky,' Thirteen comnted. 'This is the safest place for here in the Cygni Continent.'
However, the Hellfire Bal-Boa still refused, making the teenage boy sigh internally.
'Fine,' Thirteen said. 'But once I'm better, the first thing you'll do is pick up Evuvug, okay?'
Rocky agreed with this compromise and resud keeping a watchful gaze on its Master, whom it could imdiately send inside his Mobile Fortress at a mont's notice.
As Thirteen waited for Sherry to return, he looked at the television, which he had asked her to turn on earlier.
At the mont, news about what was happening in the Cygni Continent was being aired.
Among them was the second appearance of Masked Beetle Rider, who had swooped in to once again save so Wanderers from peril.
People were very curious about his true identity, and several conspiracy theories about him started to spread on the internet.
Of course, the one spreading the news was none other than Zion, who made sure to fan the flas so it would beco bigger.
Since the big shots of the Cygni Coalition and the Central Governnt had shifted their manpower from clearing all the monster dens in their surroundings to hoarding valuable ores and resources in preparation for the upcoming Jinn Invasion, only a few raids were being conducted to repel the monsters in the vicinity.
It was like the calm before the storm, and everyone understood that once the storm finally arrived, the battlefield would undergo a drastic change, which would decide the fate of the Cygni Continent.
Suddenly, a live broadcast of Erica and Shana inspecting one of the cities at the front lines was aired.
Thirteen couldn't help but smile when he saw how holy and pure Shana looked on television.
Only he, Erica, and Sherry knew how unholy the Saintess could be when she was in private. And if it were ever leaked to the public, people might even start to question their existence or the universe.
This included her father, mother, brother, and grandfather, who would definitely not believe the evidence even if it was dangling right in front of their faces.
For them, Shana was the epito of a prim and proper girl.
Unfortunately, the Zion Virus was simply too strong, making her unable to resist its temptations.
"Are both of you going to continue inspecting the other cities?" the reporter asked.
"Yes. We are headed to Myrtle City next," Shana replied. "We wanted to check the conditions of our brothers and sisters in arms, and confirm if they are truly safe and sound."
"That's right," Erica comnted. "Everyone is doing their best to protect this world. So, we also must help those who are risking their lives for the sake of their loved ones."
The reporter thanked the two ladies for accepting her interview.
Erica and Shana both waved at the cara, with Erica even blowing a flying kiss.
Clearly, it was ant for her fiancé, who had seen it on live television.

Sowhere in the Cygni Continent…
"Myrtle City, huh?" Prince Zorren smirked. "Finally, a chance has co."
The handso prince raised his hand, and a subordinate knelt in front of him.
"Inform Princess Laventia that if she wishes to continue our cooperation, she is to help with a mission," Prince Zorren ordered.
"Yes, Your Highness!" the subordinate replied before leaving to carry out his Master's orders.
Prince Zorren then shifted his attention to the two beautiful ladies on the screen and licked his lips in anticipation.
Since the perfect opportunity had co for him to capture the ladies of the Hero Party, he decided to make his move.
While his priority was to make Erica his wife, he didn't mind having a child with the Saintess as well.
That way, a child with holy powers would be born under his wing.
With Princess Laventia's help, he was confident he could sweep in to capture his targets and leave before any reinforcents had arrived.
