"Damn it!" Norman couldn't help but curse after watching the live broadcast from start to finish. "Is he insane?!"

Just as he was thinking of confronting Douglas, he was interrupted by the sound of his communicator ringing, prompting him to look at the na of the caller.

Seeing Aaron's na, the Monarch was reminded that both of them were currently on the sa boat.

"What are we going to do about this?" Norman asked as soon as he accepted the call. "The bastard even swore using Laplace Demon's na. Do you dare do the sa to clear your na?"

His voice was filled with sarcasm, though a part of him truly wanted to see if the second-in-command of The One would turn a blind eye to a pledge that would co from them.

"I've ordered my people in the Sirius Continent to imdiately mitigate the spread of the news using all the resources of my Clan," Aaron replied. "But for so reason, nothing is working. The news has already traveled far and wide, and we can't seem to erase any evidence.

"I also asked my people to block the live broadcast by hook or by crook, including destroying the Broadcast Towers. They had done it without too many problems, but the live broadcast still spread like wildfire. Even the destruction of the towers didn't seem to affect it."

"How is that even possible?" Norman asked. "The broadcast should have stopped as soon as the Broadcast Towers had been destroyed."

"I don't know what they did, but it seems they have other ans to keep the live broadcast going despite my efforts to sabotage it. However, one thing is clear. Douglas has an accomplice. There might even be multiple of them."

"And those people know exactly what they're doing. Even now, the evacuees from the Cygni Continent who had gone to the Sirius Continent are getting restless. If we don't do anything, a revolt might co to pass."

"A revolt?" Norman sneered. "Then, how about we just go ahead and make these ants understand who they are dealing with? Call Wendell and Trevor. Tell them to co as soon as possible. It's about ti we put everyone in place."

A brief mont of silence descended after Norman finished his statent. This made the Monarch wonder if their call was disconnected since Aaron hadn't said anything for a while.

Just as he was about to confirm whether his comrade was still on the line, Aaron's voice reached his ears.

"Wendell and Trevor are not picking up my calls," Aaron said. "But according to my spies, those two are currently on their way here to the Cygni Continent."

The Patriarch of the Stallard Clan clicked his tongue, well aware that the situation had completely spiraled out of control.

"Who is it?" Norman asked. "Who do you think is backing Douglas? Is it Lawrence?"

The only person whom they really needed to be wary of was the Monarch of the Central Governnt, whom they had failed to kill in the past.

Lawrence had single-handedly prevented the Monarchs from having full and complete control of Pangea and from lording over the masses without any competition.

"The possibility exists—yes, but I have a feeling he is not the one directly involved in this matter," Aaron replied. "But there is soone else who cos to mind."

"Who?" Norman inquired.

"Zion Leventis," Aaron answered without hesitation.

Norman initially planned to say that a re Rookie couldn't possibly be the person whom Douglas was counting on.

But he wasn't able to say it.

He might have underestimated the teenage boy in the past because of his Rank as a Rookie, but ti and ti again, Zion had proved that rank wasn't everything.

"Do you have a plan in mind?" Norman asked in a serious tone. "Do you want to raid Casimir City and kidnap that boy?"

"Do you really think he's a fool?" Aaron asked back in disdain. "I already talked to my spy in the 69th Battalion, and he said that he hadn't seen their commander since morning.

"Even that girl who follows Zion around is nowhere to be found. He might have gone into hiding. Attacking Casimir City now might only provoke Tristan into starting a full-scale war against us."

Norman scratched his hair, understanding that his earlier suggestion would be indeed a very bad move.

All of them had tried to fight Lawrence at the sa ti and managed to kill him a few tis.

But the Monarch of the Central Governnt was immortal and would be reborn in a random location each ti he died.

In the past, Lawrence didn't hold back and massacred nearly half of the Stallard Clan, forcing Norman to compromise.

In fear that the sa thing would happen to them, the other Monarchs, including Aaron, tried to settle the dispute and paid a hefty compensation to seal the matter.

Back then, Lawrence only told them one thing.

"There won't be a next ti."

Since that day, the Monarchs did their best not to offend the Grand Marshal of the Central Governnt.

"So, what do we do now?" Norman sneered. "Play the victim card?"

"No," Aaron replied. "We will not do anything."

"Excuse ? What do you an we will not do anything?"

"Exactly as I said. We won't do anything. Ignore all interviews, and make no comnts whatsoever. We are Monarchs, so why must we care about the opinion of ants?"

Norman, who was panicking earlier, finally cald down. What his comrade said was true.

They were Monarchs.

The most powerful Wanderers in Pangea.

Even if the world hated them, so what?

What could re ants do about it?

They could easily expel the people who evacuated from the Cygni Continent away from their territories and dump them to the north of the Sirius Continent, where the Jinns were active.

They held vast swaths of territories in the Sirius Continent, and they didn't need to answer to anyone.

Monarchs were Monarchs. Moreover, there were two of them. The people of Pangea would still need to think twice before antagonizing them.

"Hah… you're right." Norman finally regained his composure. "Since they are painting us as the bad guys, then we'll just be the bad guys. Hmph! Let's see if they can really defend this continent without us. So, are you going back to the Sirius Continent for damage control?"

"Yes," Aaron answered. "There is no longer any reason for us to stay here. I have also finished my talks with the Lotte, Bishop, and Gates families. Aside from the Lotte Family, the two seed inclined to accept our proposal."

"I guess we won't be leaving here empty-handed, then." Norman chuckled. "Still, Wendell and Trevor might be a problem."

"They won't." Aaron smiled faintly. "We will just have to make sure that they both die here in the Cygni Continent when the invasion starts. Besides, it's a perfect opportunity to do so cleaning up."

Norman didn't comnt right away because he was aware of this plan.

It was their last resort just in case things went south. Frankly, he didn't want to do this, but if they really wanted to take over the world, being ruthless was a necessity.

"I'm still not on board with this last resort of yours," Norman stated. "Do not forge— Lawrence is still a threat."

"Not for long," Aaron stated, not wanting to tell more about the preparations he had made for the day he once again fought against Lawrence, whom they treated as the greatest thorn on their side.

After agreeing that they no longer needed to remain in the Cygni Continent, the two Monarchs decided to leave and leave the Cygni Coalition to their fate.

The two of them didn't believe that the Cygni Continent could be saved, especially when it was already guaranteed that Rank 9 Sovereigns would appear during the final battle.
