Malisa’s lips parted like she wanted to say sothing, but no words ca out. Cora’s words were making too much sense now.

"He knew the reason why he did it," Cora continued, her voice steady but filled with quiet frustration. "He had a plan. And confronting him won’t break him or stop whatever he’s up to. It will only make him more cautious."

She leaned forward now, voice lowering into a more serious tone. "There’s no point asking him anything. That man is already ten steps ahead. What we need to do now is put our ears on the ground. We need to start watching. Listening. Gathering information. Not just assumptions, but proof."

Cora paused for a second, then looked Malisa in the eyes and said, "Because I am certain it’s Robert. Everything is so clear. Like it is so obvious to ."

At that mont, Malisa was forced to speak up. She gently leaned forward, her voice calm but firm, "Everything you’ve said, Kora... it actually aligns with what we’ve been suspecting. The signs are all there. Everything happening around us is not just coincidence anymore. It’s connected. All of it."

She paused for a mont, letting out a long breath as her fingers intertwined on her lap. Her expression was focused, but the tension behind her eyes told of a woman trying to hold too many thoughts at once.

"But," Malisa continued, "are we just going to fold our hands and do nothing? That’s not even an option. That’s not who we are. We can’t afford to just sit back and let this happen."

Cora nodded slowly, her brows furrowed in agreent.

Malisa’s eyes narrowed a bit. "The best thing for us right now... is to stay vigilant. Just like you said. We need to watch every move, pay attention to every detail. But at the sa ti, we can’t just wait and hope the answers co to us. We need information. And we need it fast."

Cora tilted her head slightly, her fingers tapping on her knee in thought. Then she asked quietly but sharply, "So what is Lovi actually saying about all of this? Has he gotten any new lead or any sort of information?"

There was a slight edge of expectation in her voice, as if she was hoping that Lovie, the one person they could rely on behind the scenes, had already uncovered sothing anything.

"Because," Cora added, "definitely sothing should be up already. Sothing should have cracked. He should at least be able to tell us what’s going on beneath all of this ss."

At that mont, Malisa exhaled deeply. "Maybe," she said slowly, "maybe after I leave here, I’ll send Lovie a ssage. I’ll confront him. That’s going to be the best thing to do."

At that mont, hearing what Malisa just said, Cora slowly turned her head to her and nodded. There was a cold firmness in her eyes as if her mind was beginning to accept what her heart had already concluded.

Then Malisa calmly continued, "Cora, it’s not about fear anymore. Honestly, I don’t care if anyone thinks we’re overreacting, but this is not just so business shake-up. I’m telling you now, it’s Robert. I’m almost certain it’s him. But that’s not enough. We can’t go off feelings or instincts. We need real proof sothing solid."

Cora crossed her arms tightly across her chest and looked down for a second before saying in a low voice, "If it is really him, then he’s not doing this blindly. There’s a plan, and a damn good one. Every move has been calculated. He waited until I was vulnerable... until I transferred the first 10%... now he’s circling the 30%. Malisa, I feel like I handed him the blade, and now he’s aiming for the heart."

Malisa leaned forward slightly, her tone slower, more thoughtful. "And that’s exactly why we need to play this smart. No sudden moves. No emotional reactions. If he senses that we’re aware, he will pivot and hide his tracks deeper. We can’t afford to alert him until we have everything we need."

"Then what are we supposed to do?" Cora asked, her voice low, tense, and tired. "Sit here and let him take everything?"

"No," Malisa replied, shaking her head slowly. "We pay attention. We listen. We beco shadows in our own house. We take in every move, every whisper, every transaction. And we plan....plan like we’re building our own war map."

There was a long pause, then Cora muttered, "We pretend... like we’re not aware?"

Malisa nodded with a faint, dangerous smile. "Exactly. We play dumb. Smile when he walks in. Nod when he speaks. But beneath it all we prepare. Because the mont our suspicion is confird, we don’t talk. We don’t question. We attack."

At that mont, Malisa leaned back slowly, rubbing her forehead, clearly deep in thought. Her voice ca out calm but determined as she said, "No problem then. I’m going to work really hard too. I’ll do my own investigation, check a few things, ask around discreetly. We need to make sure we’re not missing anything. If there’s even the slightest chance we’re wrong, I want to be the first to find out before it gets worse."

At that mont Cora gave a soft nod, the corner of her lips twitching slightly not quite a smile, but sothing close. She seed relieved that lissa was just as determined. "Alright," she replied. "That’s good to know. We need as many eyes and ears as we can get."

Then her expression shifted a little more reserved now, like sothing else was weighing on her. She exhaled sharply, trying to sound casual but failing to hide the tension in her voice. "Also... my father is coming into the country today. Or maybe tomorrow."

Malisa’s eyebrows lifted slightly. "Really? I thought he was still handling business overseas."

"He was," Cora nodded, "but sothing ca up. And there’s more." She hesitated for a second, like the next part was harder to say. "The person I’ve been trying not to see for years now... he’s coming too. My uncle."

That made Malisa blink. She repeated it, a little slower. "Your uncle is coming?"

Cora just nodded again, this ti with a deeper seriousness in her eyes. "Yes."
