At that mont upon hearing what Cora just said, Oliver couldn't help but smile softly, that calm kind of smile that seed to confuse her even more. His eyes carried a quiet confidence, but Cora's face only tightened with worry.

"Why are you smiling?" she snapped, her voice trembling between frustration and fear. "This is sothing really, really serious, Oliver! And you're just standing there smiling about it?" She took a step closer, her tone rising. "Do you even understand what's happening right now? I wasn't expecting this at all—the way my father reacted, how calm he was, how… happy he seed."

Her breath quickened as she paced the room, running her hands through her hair. "This is the first ti in my life I've seen him like that. He actually said he wants you to beco his son. Can you even imagine that?" she said, shaking her head in disbelief. "So, tell , Oliver—if the truth cos out, if he finds out that all of this is fake, what do you think will happen? It'll be disastrous! He'll never forgive , and he'll destroy you. I know what I'm talking about, Oliver. You don't know my father the way I do."

Oliver stood there silently for a mont, watching her every move. Then, slowly, he pushed himself off the edge of the table he'd been leaning on and walked toward her. His smile didn't fade; instead, it grew a little softer, more reassuring.

"Cora," he said calmly, his tone steady, "you just have to calm down."

She stopped pacing, her eyes wide and uncertain as they t his.

"Who actually told you that it's going to be exposed?" Oliver continued, his voice lowering, filled with quiet confidence. "Who told you that?"

At that mont, upon hearing what Oliver just said, Cora imdiately turned to look at him, her eyes widening in disbelief. Her heart pounded hard against her chest, and her brows drew together tightly. She couldn't understand why Oliver was still calm, why he was still acting as if nothing was wrong when everything around them was slowly falling apart.

"What are you even saying?" she burst out, her voice shaking as she took a step closer to him. "Of course, it's going to get exposed, Oliver! When the ti cos and we have to stop what's in our hearts when everything ends—everyone will know that this whole thing was fake from the very beginning." Her tone cracked slightly, the weight of her fear leaking through.

She moved her hands restlessly, pacing back and forth across the room. "So, how are we going to handle that? What are we supposed to do then? Do you even know the kind of disappointnt that's going to co out of this?" Her voice softened, but the worry in her face deepened. "You need to think straight here because this isn't a child's play anymore. This isn't just between us."

Cora stopped walking and looked at him again, her face full of concern. "And from everything that happened today, I know my uncle. He's going to be interested in you from now on. He's going to dig deep, Oliver. He's going to make sure he gets every piece of information he can about you—where you ca from, who you are, what you've done. He'll find sothing, and when he does, everything will fall apart." She paused, breathing heavily, her words trembling in the air. "So, what are we going to do?"

For a few seconds, there was silence. Then, Oliver slowly lifted his head and looked at her again. That sa quiet, confident smile appeared on his face. The kind of smile that made her even more confused because it didn't match the panic in her heart.

"Cora," he said softly, his tone firm yet gentle, "I told you before, didn't I?" He took a small step closer, his gaze steady. "Who told you that it's going to be exposed? And who told you that when the ti is right, it will fall apart?" He paused, letting his words sink in before adding in that sa calm voice, "Like I said before, you have nothing to worry about. When the ti is right, then you'll understand why I'm this adamant, why I'm this proud about it, and why I'm this serious about it."

Hearing what Oliver just said, Cora stood there for a while, still not sure about the direction in which his words were heading. Her eyes narrowed slightly, searching his face for a clue, but Oliver's calm expression made it even harder to read him. It was as though he knew sothing she didn't—sothing she couldn't quite figure out.

Her voice ca out in a mix of confusion and worry as she asked, "What are you trying to say? Like, I don't understand you." Her tone carried a hint of desperation, her mind spinning with possibilities she couldn't control.

Oliver didn't respond right away. Instead, that small, confident smile of his appeared again. It wasn't playful, and it wasn't careless—it was the kind of smile that held secrets behind it, the kind that made her even more restless.

"Well," he finally said, his tone quiet but firm, "I have sowhere very important to go right now." He turned slightly toward the door, his hand brushing against the handle as he added, "When I get back, we'll talk about it."

Imdiately, Cora stepped closer, her voice rising in protest. "No, Oliver, this isn't sothing we should just talk about later! This is serious!" Her eyes glistened with worry as she grabbed his arm lightly, trying to stop him from walking away.

At that mont Oliver turned his head slightly, looking at her hand on his arm before eting her eyes again. His expression softened for a brief mont, but he still kept that faint, knowing smile. "No," he said calmly, "it's not sothing to talk about now. When I co back, then we'll talk about it."

He began to move again, his voice lowering as he added sothing that made her heart skip a beat. "But for now, Cora," he said, his tone turning gentle yet deliberate, "what if… what we're actually doing as fake—could actually turn true."
