At that mont, hearing what Oliver just said but still feeling the weight of everything that had just transpired, Cora started looking at him with this mixture of curiosity and lingering worry in her eyes. She tilted her head slightly, studying his face like she was trying to read between the lines of his confidence.

"Well, I really don't want Penelope to disgrace in front of everyone," she said slowly, her voice still carrying traces of the anxiety she had been feeling.

"I know her better than most people, and I know exactly how cruel and vindictive she can be when she wants to destroy soone. That's why I'm feeling very, very curious about how you plan to pull this off, and that's why I really don't want us to fall into whatever elaborate trap she might be setting for us." She paused, searching his eyes for more reassurance.

"But since you seem very, very confident about what you can do and how you're going to handle this situation, then I suppose there's no problem. I'm going to trust you completely on this one."

At that mont, Oliver leaned back in his chair with that sa mysterious smile playing at the corners of his mouth, and he looked like soone who was about to reveal a secret that would change everything.

"Well, let just tell you sothing as a matter of fact," he said, his voice taking on this casual tone that sohow made his words sound even more significant. "Let just give you a little hint about why I'm so confident about this whole situation."

He paused dramatically, letting the suspense build for a mont.

"I've actually seen Penelope's husband-to-be before - I've seen his picture in business magazines and at corporate events, and here's the thing that's going to blow your mind - I know his father personally."

Oliver's smile grew wider as he continued his revelation.

"His father is, let just say, sobody that I literally helped build their entire business empire from the ground up. I'm talking about major financial backing, strategic partnerships, connections that made their family wealthy beyond their wildest dreams. And you know what's really ironic about this whole situation?" He leaned forward conspiratorially.

"That top guest of honor that Penelope was bragging about so confidently, the one she said we'd never even heard of before - well, that guest of honor is literally ."

Oliver chuckled softly as he explained the twist of fate.

"I never even wanted to accept their wedding invitation in the first place because I had no idea who the bride was, and frankly, I didn't care about attending so stranger's wedding. But because of everything Penelope said tonight, because of all those insulting words and that ridiculous bet she forced us into, now I have no other choice but to accept it and show her exactly who she's been ssing with."

Imdiately, without wasting another second, Oliver brought out his expensive phone and began typing a ssage to his assistant Lisa, telling her to accept the wedding invitation that he had initially declined without a second thought, and he hit send.

At that mont, Oliver turned his phone screen toward Cora so she could see exactly what he had just sent, his eyes twinkling with satisfaction and anticipation for what was about to unfold in just one week's ti.

"You see right here? I just sent a ssage to my assistant instructing her that our wedding invitation should be accepted imdiately," he said, pointing to the ssage that had already been delivered with a small checkmark beside it. "Don't worry about anything, Cora. You are definitely going to see exactly how this whole situation plays out, and I can absolutely assure you that Penelope - this so-called friend of yours - is definitely going to get exactly what she deserves for all the humiliation she's put you through over the years."

Oliver reached across the table and gently squeezed her hand with a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry about a single thing, just leave everything to and let handle this entire situation from start to finish," he continued, though there was a slight hesitation in his voice as he added the next part.

"Or if you really want to be involved in handling the situation yourself, you absolutely can be, but I have to be honest with you - I feel like you might be too soft-hearted and forgiving for sothing like this. You might end up letting her off the hook way too quickly once you see her getting embarrassed, and frankly, after everything she's done to you, I don't think she deserves that kind of rcy."

Hearing what Oliver just said about her being too soft-hearted, Cora's jaw tightened with determination and a fire sparked in her eyes that Oliver had never seen since. She straightened up in her chair and looked at him with an intensity that surprised even herself.

"Who told you that I'm going to let her off the hook easily?" she said firmly, her voice carrying a strength that hadn't been there during her earlier confrontations with Penelope.

"If I see any opportunity to literally get one over her, to give her a taste of her own dicine, I'm going to grab it with both hands and squeeze until she understands exactly what it feels like to be on the receiving end of humiliation." Her eyes flashed with anticipation as she continued.

"And yes, if by so miracle - and since I'm choosing to believe you now - we actually manage to get to that wedding and it's proven that we truly are the top guests of honor there, just know that Penelope is going to cry tears that she's never cried before in her entire privileged life."

At that mont, without wasting another second, Oliver looked at Cora with this proud, almost admiring expression on his face, clearly pleased to see this new fierce side of her personality erging from beneath all those years of being pushed around by Penelope.

"Well then, I'm going to allow you to literally handle the situation however you see fit when the ti cos," he said with a warm smile. "Five days from now is not really that far away at all - it's going to arrive before you know it. Don't worry about anything between now and then, just trust completely. You're definitely going to see what I'm truly made of on that day, and I have a strong feeling that you will finally understand so many things about that might seem mysterious or confusing to you right now."
