Since he had already asked what he wanted to know for now, he bid farewell and left the shop. He didn’t leave the market imdiately because he still had sothing he wanted to get done.
So after leaving the information broker, he went into a nearby shop selling tacs. He went there to get the body refining tacs that he needed.
anwhile, the attendant back at the information broker shop took out a book and began to write about her eting with Loki in the book.
Loki didn’t know that they were talking about him. If he knew this and discovered the situation of the information broker, he would surely be surprised.
After he got the body refining tacs that he needed, he took out his token and used it to search for any sect transportation going to the heavenly city. He found one this ti around because he ca early.
He didn’t want to fly to the heavens when there is another option and when he can use the ti to refine his body. So he went to find the airship going to the heavens.
Once he found the airship, he boarded it and went into his cabin. He stayed in this cabin for the entire trip. Nothing could make him leave the cabin, not even the sight of a small world falling from the heavens to the world barrier.
The falling small world got him thinking, though. He said as he mused to himself, "That must be the last small world that hosted the Heavenly Battlefield. If it descended for the Four Directions Sect to use against the Martial Body Sect, it ans that the Four Directions Sect won the last Heavenly Battlefield."
"It ans that despite the imnse opposition that the sect faced, we still won. I find that hard to believe after what I’ve seen in the Heavenly Battlefield."
"How did they win fighting four sects and the world guardians of the world? Is the Four Directions Sect that strong?"
Then he shook his head and said, "It doesn’t even matter if the Four Directions Sect is strong or not. What matters is that we must win the Heavenly Battlefield I participate in, or I won’t get any chance to win that reward from the sect."
"Besides that, if we don’t win, odds are that I won’t survive the Heavenly Battlefield because our failure will likely be caused by everyone in the Four Directions Sect being wiped out. So we must win at all costs."
His voice was grim as he said this. It indicated how seriously he was taking the Heavenly Battlefield.
He only spent a little more than one hour in the Heavenly Battlefield, but in that short ti, he had experienced why the Heavenly Battlefield is so dangerous. From what he experienced, he has co to the conclusion that the rank 5 cultivators are the main source of danger on the Heavenly Battlefield.
A close second source of danger is the scattering of the soldiers into the Heavenly Battlefield upon entry. If everyone in a sect had entered together, they would have been able to work together to keep each other alive.
The rank 5 cultivators of the sect would have been able to protect the weaker rank 4 cultivators if everyone had entered the battlefield together. But that can’t happen because everyone was scattered upon entry. So if they want to combine their power, they will have to brave danger before they can et up.
The third source of danger is how outnumbered the Four Directions Sect is by its enemies. This danger works well with the presence of rank 5 cultivators in the world and the scattering of troops across the small world to make the Heavenly Battlefield a battlefield full of unpredictable danger.
Because of being outnumbered, odds are that the people of the Four Directions Sect will be transported close to an enemy. After all, they are outnumbered 4 to 1 by just the sects alone. There are still the defense of the world to worry about.
As he thought about this, he said, "It is like being sent into a field full of land mines. So land mines might not be strong enough to kill you, but there are certainly enough land mines to bury you, and so land mines are nuclear bombs capable of taking out an entire army of troops."
Then he frowned and said, "How did those deceivers find each other and set up a trap so fast anyway? I feel like they are cheating sohow."
"If I have a chance to trip them up, I must do it. They deserve to be taught a lesson for setting up such a devious trap."
After promising to have his revenge on the deceivers, he went back to refining his body. He didn’t stop until they reached the heavenly city.
Once he alighted from the airship, he went to the market to get the tacs he needed. Aside from getting his usual tacs, he also tried to increase his power by getting more Branch tacs. Unfortunately for him, he had little success in this.
The Forging Pathway had a lot of Branch tacs for him to choose from, but it had a limit on how many ways he could combine the tacs.
Not every Branch tac could be combined to produce power. Only Branch tacs that were compatible and useful for the kind of power that he was producing could be combined.
As it is, only five Branch tacs could be combined to create power. This was the limit, and since he had already reached this limit with the Body Lever tac, Living Armant tac, Force Lever tac, Energy Amplifier tac, and Lightning Engine tac, there was nothing more to add.
As for the Dual Cultivation Pathway, it also had a lot of Branch tacs. Though the Branch tacs weren’t as abundant as the ones for the Forging Pathway.
Unfortunately, nearly every one of them was a tac for ntal attacks for luring people to have sex or tacs for taking advantage of sex.
