He heard what Hammock said and the many other things that were going on in his ntal world, but he didn’t pay attention to them because they weren’t important. Now that his curiosity had been satiated, he had returned to focusing his attention on reading about the Oceania World.
He has registered for the mission to set up an outpost on Oceania, and the sect has approved his registration. The sect then sent him the coordinates of a small world that he is supposed to go to to prepare for the mission.
Apparently, he can’t go to the Oceania World imdiately. He has to et up with other divine beings who will then go together with him.
He is on his way to the small world now. He has already entered the third dinsion and is moving in the direction of the small world.
Since he has so ti on his hands, he decided to use his free ti to think about his upcoming mission and ntally prepare himself for so things that he might encounter. The first thing that popped into his mind was how he would have to fight with other divine beings and work together with them for the success of the mission.
After thinking about this situation, he ca to the conclusion that he had no problem with going with others for this mission, as Oceania was a large world with at least one rank 8 being. He was sure that he couldn’t defeat a rank 8 being, so any help he could get in that aspect would be appreciated.
Besides the problematic world king of Oceania, even if there was no rank 8 being to squash him like a bug, he would still appreciate the help because, as long as the mission is successful, he will get 500 divine rit points.
When he thought of the favorable situation, he said, "This sect doesn’t seem half as bad as I expected it to be. If I’m getting helpers, then the risk of danger and failure will be less, which is a good thing."
"Of course, if I were confident in beating the rank 8 world king alone, I wouldn’t want any helpers since more people ans that we will get to finish the mission too early for my monthly salary to kick in, and more people will an fewer kills for , which will reduce my kill reward."
"Since I’m still weak, those are things that I can’t complain about right now. What I should worry about is making sure not to reveal to my fellow soldiers that I have an absurd number of Divine tacs."
It goes without saying that he shouldn’t let people know how many Divine tacs he has. This is just common sense, seeing as a single Divine tac is enough reason for divine beings to want to kill each other.
But his situation is more dangerous than having a lot of Divine tacs. What he has is an unreasonable amount of Divine tacs.
So he doesn’t need any special reason to hide the number of Divine tacs in his possession. However, while hiding information about himself has been sowhat possible since he kills his enemies and seals their lips in death, he won’t be able to do that now that he has to work with others.
In order not to attract unwanted attention from divine beings who would want to kill him so that they can liberate the Divine tacs in his possession for their personal use, he has to make sure that he doesn’t get carried away when fighting on this mission.
He expects that this is going to be sowhat difficult to do since he is going into dangerous territory and his life is going to be on the line in most fights.
When he thought about what he was about to get himself into, he gritted his teeth and said, "Unless I am willing to kill everyone to make sure that my secret is not exposed, I should always choose to die rather than reveal too much of my power."
"It is not as if I can kill everyone anyway. I’m too weak for that. But even if I could kill all my partners, there is still the punishnt from the sect for killing my partners to deal with."
The sect had stated clearly in the mission, saying, "The killing of friendlies on this mission will not be condoned. Any intentional murder of your partners on this mission will result in a fine of 500 divine rit points multiplied by the rank of the friendly and then increased by 30% for wasting the sect’s ti."
"If you want to kill divine beings, please go and do so sowhere else. The sect missions are not the place to carry out any vendetta or further your personal violent agendas."
"If you don’t have the divine rit points, your Divine Position will be taken from you, and you will be enslaved forever as a lesson to others. You have been warned."
This warning made him whistle and say, "I can always count on the sect to find a way to give value to life. But as usual, they also found a way to use soone else’s death to enrich their pockets."
"No wonder they don’t ban killing each other on missions. After all, they have sothing to gain from it."
He found it sowhat comical that the sect didn’t ban killing each other outright and instead added a 30% premium to the fine for killing friendlies.
After calculating the fines, he realized that if he killed a rank 6 cultivator, he would have to pay a fine of 3,900 divine rit points. A rank 7 will cost him 4,550 divine rit points, while a rank 8 will cost him 5,200 divine rit points.
Seeing as he didn’t have a single divine rit point, he couldn’t afford to kill anyone. So if he kills anyone, he will have to escape into the River of Ti imdiately or allow himself to be enslaved by the sect.
