Now reading: Chapter 84: THE TRUTH BEFORE CREATION from THE KING OF STARS, a Action novel by Babyface90.

"Creation was never supposed to be alone."

The words left Yun's lips.

And existence broke.

Not shattered.

Not destroyed.

Broken.

As though reality itself had heard sothing it was never ant to rember.

The mont those words echoed across creation, every law governing existence faltered.

Ti stopped flowing.

Stars froze in place.

The shattered remains of the heavenly door beca motionless fragnts suspended across the cosmos.

Even the enormous hand extending from beyond the Outside stopped moving.

Everything beca still.

Everything except Yun.

---

Pain consud him.

Not physical pain.

Sothing deeper.

His soul felt as though it were being torn apart by mories too large to fit inside a mortal mind.

The convergence around him spiraled wildly.

Silver threads. Black threads.

Countless rings of balance.

All of them began glowing brighter than ever before.

The Root reacted imdiately.

Its colossal branches stretched across reality, shaking violently.

The Devourer rose from the dinsional abyss, ignoring its wounds.

The Shepherd remained motionless.

The Thrones had stopped speaking entirely.

Because all of them knew.

Sothing ancient had just awakened.

Not outside.

Not beyond heaven.

Inside history itself.

---

Yun saw another vision.

Far clearer than before.

Far older.

Before worlds.

Before stars.

Before heaven.

Before anything.

There had been only possibility.

An endless ocean of existence without shape.

Without law.

Without direction.

Infinite potential waiting to beco sothing.

And within that endless sea—

Two beings.

Not gods.

Not creators.

Sothing beyond those concepts.

The first.

A being of endless light.

Not bright light.

Creative light.

The force that wished to beco.

To expand.

To build.

To imagine.

The second.

A being of endless darkness.

Not evil darkness.

Not destruction.

Silence.

Observation.

The force that wished to understand before creating.

One desired movent.

One desired stillness.

One desired growth.

One desired aning.

Together—

They were whole.

---

Yun's body trembled violently.

Blood poured from his eyes.

The vision continued.

The two beings stood together for an eternity.

Watching possibility.

Learning from possibility.

Becoming possibility.

Then—

Sothing happened.

Sothing impossible.

The first disagreent.

The first division.

The first choice.

The being of light wanted creation.

Worlds.

Life.

Change.

Endless expansion.

The being of darkness disagreed.

Not because it opposed creation.

Because it feared incomplete creation.

It feared creating without understanding the consequences.

And for the first ti—

The two beca separate.

---

The vision shifted.

The being of light moved.

And creation was born.

Stars erupted into existence.

Dinsions unfolded.

Ti began.

Reality ford.

Life followed.

The first universe.

Then another.

Then another.

Countless realities blossod across existence.

The beginning.

The true beginning.

---

But sothing was missing.

Yun felt it imdiately.

Creation was incomplete.

The balance was gone.

Only half remained.

Growth without understanding.

Possibility without restraint.

Evolution without wisdom.

The wound existed from the very beginning.

A flaw hidden within reality itself.

---

The being of darkness left.

Not in anger.

Not in hatred.

It simply walked away.

Beyond creation.

Beyond reality.

Beyond possibility itself.

And creation never saw it again.

---

The vision shattered.

Yun gasped.

Reality returned.

The war returned.

The broken heavens returned.

But sothing had changed.

Every being present had felt it.

The mory.

The truth.

The Architect stared at Yun.

For the first ti since his appearance—

His composure vanished completely.

"You saw it."

Yun looked toward him.

Slowly.

Painfully.

"Who were they?"

The Architect closed his eyes.

For a mont he looked impossibly old.

Not ancient.

Tired.

The exhaustion of soone carrying knowledge for too long.

Then he answered.

"The First Division."

The universe trembled.

The words carried power.

aning.

History.

The Shepherd imdiately reacted.

"DO NOT SPEAK OF THEM."

The Architect ignored it.

"The first being beca creation."

His gaze shifted toward the endless cosmos.

"The second beca the Outside."

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Yun's heart stopped.

The Outside.

Not an invasion.

Not another realm.

Not enemies beyond reality.

The Outside was the missing half.

The half that left.

The half creation lost.

The Devourer's enormous eye widened.

Slowly.

As though understanding sothing it had sought for countless ages.

NO...

The Architect nodded.

"Yes."

The primordial being beca silent.

Completely silent.

Even the Shepherd seed shaken.

Its voice erged slower than before.

"THE OUTSIDE IS CORRUPTION."

The Architect laughed.

A sad laugh.

"No."

He pointed toward creation.

Then toward the darkness beyond existence.

"We are both fragnts."

The statent shook reality.

The convergence around Yun erupted.

The silver and black threads intertwined more deeply than ever before.

Balance.

The Root.

The Devourer.

Creation.

Outside.

Suddenly everything made sense.

The convergence was never ant to unite opposing forces.

They had never been opposites.

They were separated halves of sothing older.

Sothing whole.

Then the hand beyond the Outside moved again.

Slowly.

Deliberately.

The enormous fingers shifted.

The Eye focused directly on Yun.

And this ti—

Yun understood what he was seeing.

Not a monster.

Not a god.

Not an invader.

A witness.

Ancient beyond imagination.

A being that rembered the world before creation.

The being that had walked away.

The Architect's face turned pale.

"No..."

The hand continued moving.

Closer.

Closer.

Closer.

The entire universe shook.

The Root began screaming.

The Devourer roared.

The Shepherd unleashed every remaining law it possessed.

Golden authority flooded existence.

The Thrones attacked.

Reality itself fought against the approaching hand.

Nothing worked.

Nothing even slowed it.

Then the hand stopped.

Just above creation.

Just above existence.

Just above Yun.

The Eye blinked.

Once.

The effect nearly destroyed reality.

Entire galaxies vanished.

Dinsional layers collapsed.

The heavens fractured further.

The convergence exploded outward.

And then

For the first ti since existence began—

The being beyond the Outside spoke.

Not through sound.

Not through language.

Through truth.

Every living thing heard the sa ssage.

Every star.

Every soul.

Every law.

Every reality.

One sentence.

One impossible sentence.

One statent that turned the entire war aningless.

One statent that made even the Architect look terrified.

The voice said:

"You were never the first creation."

And sowhere beyond the darkness

Thousands of other Eyes opened.
